Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    So Nikita (on Friday) scored as good as Carrie Diaries and surpassed 90210.

    Here’s an idea: renew 90210 and Carrie diaries for next year and stick them on Friday. Put Nikita on Monday.

  • BigBrotherFan

    Great for NIKITA! Great show!

  • Fake Me Out

    Will the WB & CW please, for the love of all that is good and holy, announce the 4th and FINAL season of Nikita asap so all the fanboyz can relax and stop getting woodies every time the show manages to reach the dizzying heights of half a demo point and more than 1.5 million total viewers (assuming it doesn’t adjust down in the finals).

    Obviously the guys ‘n gals here at the site love them fanboyz and their page views but it does become tiresome every Saturday to see the deluded ramblings of the Moms Basement Dweller Brigades™ going on and on about a show that should never have seen a 2nd season let alone limp, nay, be carried to a 4th season in the crazy hopes they’d make money in syndication.

    @Bizarro Bondoel

    What ? Short of arguments ? Already ? It’s even better (or worst) than I thought ! Go Bizarro, try harder, that’s still not it, I’m sure you be even more ridiculous than you’re already are !

  • Rachel

    0.5 calls for celebration now? LOL. Just goes to show how big of a flop Nikita is.

  • AppleStinx

    I guessed the .5 correctly for this ratings powerhouse. Where is commenter Hillbilly? I want to throw this in his face. :razz:

  • kikieka

    Awesome!GO NIKI

  • Sabrina

    Nikita does not need any more schedule changes. Leave it be on Friday.

  • Ram510

    Wow Nikita only had 20k less viewers than Beauty and the Beast. Just think what the numbers would look like if the switched timeslots. If people think Nikita is a flop then Beauty is a major flop

  • Bizzaro Bondoel

    @Bad Wolf

    I’m sorry, I can’t hear you over the cheeto crumbs falling out of your fat mouth.

  • Dave S.

    Great numbers for Nikita. I think it makes sense to give it another season. I think they will renew BATB and HOD instead of 90210, Cult and TCD. I could not make any sense out of the long trailer of Cult and am sorry that I do not think it is going to do well.I really expected TCD to do better. Guess we aren’t ready to revisit the 80s just yet.

  • Bad Wolf

    @Fake Me Out

    I totally agree with you about fanboys getting crazy for not so spectacular numbers, which could be adjusted down, but what about the ones who are only here to bash and hate on other people only because they like a show those people hate ?

  • chris23

    1.59=.5 for Nikita… 90210 can’t even break 800,000 viewers and gets a .4 on Monday nights? And then Carrie gets a .4 for a repeat at 830,000 viewers better than an original 90210?!?

    I guessed a .5 for Nikita. I figured possible and in reach.. I can’t believe the article says people guessed way too optimistic?!!! For a season full of .4, a .5 is a nice welcome especially when 90210, TCD, and Hart of Dixie on better nights pull a .5 during the season as well!

    I wonder what the half hours were for Nikita and if it is slightly possible for an adjustment upwards to a .6?

    I’m not a fan of Nikita but I hope it doesn’t get adjusted down!

  • Bad Wolf

    @Bizarro Bondoel

    Ok, I’ll end it there, I’m beginning to feel too sorry for you. Feel free to go as low as you want (can) to have your final word, I’ll leave it to you with pleasure. Have a nice weekend, do your homework carefully, I hope you’ll make it to 6th grade !

  • Colin

    Someone needs to post half hours lol

  • David Howell

    Nikita could be the lowest-rated full season show on network TV twice in a row and still get renewed for the shot at a surely unprecedented hat-trick. (Wording deliberate to exclude LA Complex and Emily Owens – or Cult, if that somehow does even worse.)

  • Bizzaro Bondoel

    @Bad Wolf

    Typical Nikitards. Bashing other shows and acting self-righteous.

  • RJ

    People guessed over a 0.6 for Nikita? Really? Small rabid fanbases aare the worst.

  • Tessa

    I’m glad Nikita got a 0.5 because it getting renewed (which it certainly will due to the syndication gods) with those abysmal 0.4s would’ve made me real angry. This way at least we could say it earned it.
