NEW YORK – January 28, 2013 – NBC Sports Network’s coverage of the 2012-13 college basketball season continues this week with five games and more than 10 hours of coverage, highlighted by a tripleheader on Saturday. Coverage begins tonight with Drexel hosting Delaware at 7 p.m. ET from the Daskalakis Athletic Center in Philadelphia, PA. Mike Corey will manage play-by-play duties for The Game and will be joined by analyst Ron Thompson. Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET, former NBA head coach and NBC Sports Network analyst Stan Van Gundy will pair with veteran play-by-play announcer Corey to call Drexel and George Mason at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. NBC Sports Network’s college basketball tripleheader begins on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET, when Dayton travels to the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Mo. to take on Saint Louis. Dave Strader will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Mike Kaplan. At 6 p.m. ET Princeton hosts Columbia at the L. Stockwell Jadwin Gymnasium in Princeton, N.J. Randy Moss will serve as the play-by-play announcer for the matchup and will be joined analyst Dalen Cuff. At 8 p.m. ET No. 15 New Mexico hosts Nevada at the Davalos Basketball Center in Albuquerque, N.M. Play-by-play announcer Steve Schlanger will call the action with analyst Blaine Fowler. The NBC Sports Network will televise more than 65 college basketball games this season -- the most in its history -- featuring more than 40 different schools. The majority of the games and teams will come from the Atlantic 10, Mountain West, Colonial Athletic Association and Ivy League conferences.
