OH NOOOOOOO! Hannity got beat in the key demo by 26k!!!! I bet he gets cancelled!!!!! after all he only beat Maddow by a half a MILLION in the total!!!
OHHHH MAN!!! Thats gonna hurt!!!!!!!
Looks like Fox is doing well again. MSNBC got only one demo, with Racheal Maddow doing better 25 to 54 demo. But in the overall, still not as well. Looks like Miss Greta is doing rather well too.
Consistancy, it’s what is going to be looked at in the end.
I am not a fan of Hannity but even less of one of Miss Racheal.
Nice to see Greta doing better, thought she was a goner…
“Raz” writes “I am not a fan of Hannity but even less of one of Miss Racheal”. I’d parse that sentence to try to determine what he (I assume the commenter is a ‘he’)was trying to say. Maybe he was in a hurry to become the first commenter today; even so, it behooves anyone who wants his or her comments to be regarded as being to some extent valid to develop the habit of writing clearly. Dr. Maddow writes the text of her unfailingly brilliant opening monologue. Maybe “Raz” should watch it every day to get a sense of how the English language works when it’s spoken or written by a highly-educated person.
John Kerry confirmed as secretary of state
The Senate voted 94 to 3 Tuesday to approve Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) as the next secretary of state, with bipartisan tributes and a few words of caution.
Kerry is set to formally take over from Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday, becoming the 68th top U.S. diplomat and the first white male to hold the post since Warren Christopher in 1997.
Dr Maddow eloquently relates the following:
I hava Phd and all I get is this lousy TV show???????????????????
“Ed Show’ lost to ‘AC360′ and then to ‘Outfront’ in the A25-54 demo.
Hanity gets handed 557K, drops it down to 288K. Tide goes in, tide goes out nobody knows how !
“If Fox News and I are the only things keeping the Republicans from caving to Barack Obama on every issue, I’m not paid enough.” -Rush Limbaugh
“How many of you people feel guilty watching football now? The left is trying to drum up guilt. They’re trying to stigmatize the game just like they stigmatized smoking and stigmatized obesity. They stigmatize any behavior they don’t like. They get you thinking it’s bad, mean, horrible, exploitative, rotten, whatever. They haven’t injected race into this yet, but that’s gonna be the next thing to drum up this consciousness business.” -Rush Limbaugh
Low-Information America Trusts Barack Obama to Run Things He Has No Clue About – Rush Limbaugh
@Laurence Glavin
Don’t liberals ever get tired of picking on people, tearing them down, always cutting people down? If you don’t agree with someone, say so. But do you have to cut some down when they don’t write something as well as you would like in an informal comment on tvbythenumbers?

Let’s not take anything aware from Maddow’s educational credentials. They are what they are and she clearly had to have worked very hard or was very gifted, or both to have earned them. Frankly, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt – she is gifted, worked hard, and has every reason to be proud of them. Having said that, as with most well educated individuals, she is very clever in ‘spinning’ facts to suit her agenda. The fact that she has a Ph.D doesn’t make her correct or right about her assertions. However, notwithstanding her fan base on MSNBC, I don’t see her becoming a major player – her presentational style is one in which can be best described as coming across as “she ‘knows’ she is the smartest person in the room and she wants to make sure we know it.” It’s for that reason that she will not grow from her current level. We’re already seeing that her ratings are trending downward (significantly) since their peak following the election.
Senator Rubio Makes His Case
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16VbryCejyA&feature=player_embedded#t=0s
“Marco Rubio is a guy who does not fear talk radio. He embraces it. He is not at all intimidated by what would be said about him coming on this program.” – Rush Limbaugh
While Media Buzzes Over Rush and Rubio, Obama Stands in Way of Immigration Deal
RUSH: The Drive-By Media, the State-Controlled Media is abuzz — bzz bzz bzz bzz bzz — with the fact that Senator Marco Rubio will be our guest on this program in exactly one hour. They’re all talking about it. And the subject, of course, is amnesty. Uh, uh, sorry. Immigration reform. (imitating McCain) “Meaningful, comprehensive immigration reform, Limbaugh, that’s what it is. It’s not amnesty. We don’t call it amnesty.” Sorry. Exactly right, Senator. It’s meaningful, comprehensive immigration reform. We put together a montage of the media all atwitter about Senator Rubio’s appearance here in an hour.
CHUCK TODD: Today he’s going to talk to Rush Limbaugh.
MARGARET HOOVER: The right-wing talk radio folks are saying, “Well let’s hear what Marco Rubio says.”
CONNELL MCSHANE: Going to be on Rush Limbaugh today.
SAM STEIN: Rush Limbaugh today. He is the point person in talking to that universe.
JIM VANDEHEI: One thing I’d say to watch is that Rush Limbaugh interview. ‘Cause Rush Limbaugh on his show yesterday said, “I want to call on Fox News and others to join me in defeating this plan.” Rush Limbaugh still has juice with the base.

So the Porcine One thinks he’s not paid enough. Ovder the past three of four years, his syndicator, a division of Clear Channel, has laid off thousands of people working for their one-thousand-plus radio properties in order to shower this Mound of Useless Flesh with multiple millions of dollars during this period. Since I’ve never had a lobotomy, I don’t listen to his show, but from reports on media websites and such as, a considerable percentage of Clear Channel’s return on this “investment” has been spots for shady work-at-home outfits, cash-for-gold kiosks or popup storefronts, non-prescription male sexual enhancers (his main cohort is superannuated males). These “prestigious” advertisers appear on the RL show and during other dayparts (an industry term). Each tick of the clock brings closer the day when Bain-controlled Clear Channel’s huge debt burden will have to be paid down.
@ lbsles,
““If Fox News and I are the only things keeping the Republicans from caving to Barack Obama on every issue, I’m not paid enough.” -Rush Limbaugh”
We’ll send Rush a stack of Dunkin Donuts gifts cards, it’s the only thing he values more than money. Hopefully it’ll speed up the “clogged arteries” progress.
“Obama’s not gonna be president forever. As long as these next four years may seem, he won’t be president forever. We’ll have another president one day, and we have to write laws with that in mind as well.” –
Sen. Marco Rubio
