take your meds and go to bed!
Sam–Maddow beats hannity regularly and Lawrence beats Greta, too. See mark’s ratings recap above and give Rupert a call……
The stone la pierre is still pushing the NRA’s extreme right wing agenda with which the American people disagree by a 2 to1 margin. but he doesn’t care about what the people want. He just wants to put money is his pocket, like Slimebaugh……..
Mark2,
Yeah, it has become more progressive but you automatically think that is good. Is it a good thing more people depend on the government? Why? Yes, the democrat party is more inclusive based on voting, no arguement, but you are blind to their ills – they are not very “inclusive” and “tolerent” if you happen to be a conservative African American. I actually think there are 2 sides to most issues. I happen to be pro choice but do not think people who are pro life are uneducated idiots as some here do.
That is a good one about the information age exposing the R’s – I think the media does, and has done, a good job of that. If anything the D’s should be more worried since the media cannot cover for them on the Internet.
I am not a Repub apologist and agree with you on some of your points but I will go back to my analogy of some weeks ago concerning Jim Braddock returning his aid money in the 30′s because he was ashamed to get it. That mindset is dead, now it is “what can you do for me”? I am not proud of that mindset, are you? We were always told growing up that if YOU worked hard, if YOU studied, YOU could be anything you wanted to be. Does not seem that way now in my view.
If we have a major economic event see how quick things change. Regardless, it is a bad thing if one party, does not matter which, has all the power.
Also, I do not consider it blasphemy or unpatiotic to ensure people keep some of their money instead of giving it to the government (within reason, I am not saying we should not pay for things). Tell me, at what salary does one become “evil” now? Are those of us who have accountants trying to reduce our tax burden unpatiotic?
Sorry, a bit of a rant.
Unpatriotic, not sure why it auto corrected
So who are Americans really watching? Well here’s a reality check:
#1 – NBC News with Brian Williams = 9,220,000
#2 – ABC News with Diane Sawyer = 8,258,000
#3 – CBS News with Scott Pelley = 7,232,000
#4 – Fox News with Bill O’Reilly = 3,003,000
As you can see, Cable News doesn’t even come close to Broadcast News. Why is this important? Well, the majority of Americans don’t even watch Cable News…especially when compared to so called Liberal Media Networks like NBC, ABC, and CBS. The only 2 cable shows that attract over 700,000 viewers in the key demo of 18-49 are Jon Stewart and Colbert Report.

Wrong, this is the first time she’s beat him in quite some time. And the NRA’s approval writings are higher than Obama’s, so…you’re wrong yet again.
Who let the dogs out?
Oh yea, I do not see why a liberal is now a left wing zealot.
I consider myself liberal and do not fall into that camp.
Ps. To S.P.,
IE. the killers,
I do not care what he or anyone is or was. All politics should be looked at as anything else. but to judge yourself?
As far as looking into peoples lives, was not piers morgan involved with that in the UK?
I agree with Matthew, How far should the press be able to peek?
Pps. As an Indie, should I now be labeled?
ppps. As far as the poster that mentioned the house now having the spotlight on imigration reform was ,or is, spot on.
As far as I have seen, the president asked for what the Republicans wanted. Down to the back of the line.
Let us see if the house makes it easy (what should be).
Gun control or People control ?
We need more involuntary commitment laws and more institutions for these people.
People that use the guns are the problem, not the guns. Guns can’t fire themselves.
As for mentally impaired liberals…
How many beds would it take for commitment of 60% of the democrat voters ?
Good Morning Everyone
Nothing like Sirens blasting and waking up to a Tornado Warning at 4:15am.

1. The Democratic Party has become the Party of Inclusion. It supports the rights of Women, minorities, the disabled, the homeless, Union workers, etc.
———–
I think the problem is the Republicans seem to have very strict standards and if you deviate anyway from it you get targeted, while the Democrats say hey as long as you agree 80% of what we do you more then welcome to be here.
I think a good portion of Democrat voters don’t vote Democrat because they 100% believe the platform the party runs under it’s just the other side is so extreme on some issues they push them into the arms of the party that seems more open to discussion
@lbsles … are you capable of just one original thought? You just parrot Lush Limbaugh, and you do so as if you have just come down from Mt. Sinai. It’s pretty sad, actually. You contribute nothing to the conversation, because you have no independent thoughts of your own.
Nuclear weapons don’t kill people, countries kill people.
