   Even these basic freedoms contained in the First Amendment require the issuance of a government permit to march and demonstrate.

   NONE of our basic rights and liberites are ABSOLUTE.

   Rush is nothing more then an entertainer who says things for shock value(basically just preaching to the choir). To be perfectly honest the more he speaks the better it is for the Democrats because they can just use him as the Republican boogie man and say, see this is what Republicans believe.

    Morning, the appointment went well, long session yesterday for the impressions, one more session to go to get the final impression done then they are made and I get to smile again

    Not much damage from the storms here, power off in alot of areas still, but wow, the rain has been flat coming down here.

    We can always use the rain here but glad the storm was no worse. What is your annual rainfall?

    Gooood Morning!! Icky day here! fog, rain, and it will get colder by this afternoon and turn to snow, then snow off and on for the next few days! Wonder what will make me be able to smile again??

    One thing before i go, I just heard the following,
    We invaded Afganistan and we will leave but before we do we will build roads, schools, put a working gorvernment in place, and make it a much better place to live……………………maybe we should invade Detroit next!!!!!!

    For January it averages 3.28 inches, so far we have over 5 this year

    For the year we average close to 45 inches, last year we were a little below that but the year before that we set an all time record for rainfall.

    We normally don’t have alot of snow, we average about 15 inches a year but some years we can get 30-40 inches.

    @ratboy Detroit is on the road to bankruptcy. I think they stuck on stupid up there. Bankruptcy may be the only way Detroit can get a new start. Suppose be 70′s today in VA with thundestorms tonight and possible snow on Friday what a roller coaster ride.

    In Detroit they already are having firefighters double upon as EMS crews as they have had to cut most of the EMS personal there. Its sad. Last week, I read a story where at a fire 2 people were hurt bad, they called EMS and were told they themselves would have to take them the ones that they did have were not available.
