All the standard WordPress smilies work. Highly desirable ones like head-banging smilies are still just wishful thinking.
“…to overcome slavery, equal treatment in schools, transportation, restaurants, etc.”
Which had to be fought over by the southern dixie-crats to pass. How selective are our memories.
Thanks Ratboy.
You have to love the young ones acting look we oldies don’t understand computers are programming.
I still clearly remember one of my son’s sixteen year old friends trying to explain to me what a bug in a game was. Unlike Ratboy, I was nice and stopped the boy then I said, “I make a living in the field. I know what a bug is. What I don’t understand is why you people pay $100 for a game that’s infested with bugs.”

@Rats
like for me to have a young person fill you in on the texting, skyping
I want to forget all that I know and have know about computers.
One of the younger Realtors who is a committee chairperson asked “Why is it, I have all the latest technology and phones and Ipads and web sites but you old guys have all the business???” One of our 40 year members looked at her and said “I have all the business because I actually look into the peoples eys, have a conversation, call them on the phone, print out a listing for them to look at, and build a relationship so they keep calling me back and telling their friends and family about me. You on the other hand email, text, and try to keep your direct interaction to a minimum so at the end of the transaction your client doesnt even know what you look like!!!!!!!!!”
This isnt lack of gun control this is lack of CRIME control!!! Good Job Rahm!!!!!
Chicago murders top Afghanistan death toll
The death toll by murder in Chicago over the past decade is greater than the number of American forces who have died in Afghanistan since the beginning of Operation Enduring Freedom, according to a police analysis.
In addition, police reports in Chicago – where President Obama once worked as a community organizer and where his former chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, now serves as mayor – show most of the city’s massive murder mayhem is black-on-black crime
@rats, That statement is so true. Many of the young Realtor don’t understand people want that personal relationship. When all you do is get the keys to show me the house I don’t need to come back to you. They also make the mistake to not helping the people looking for the cheap houses. We had a hard time finding a Realtor to help us buy a place for our sons to live while in college. The older lady(we become good friends) who took us on was laughed at my others in her office. One of the younger girls told her after our sell went through. “You showed them over 50 houses and worked with them for four months and you only made $1500 on that buy.”
Our Realtor smiled at her and said, “After working with those people for one month, they sent me a person who bought a $300,000 home and they sent me a $450,000 listing. After closing on their house for their boys, they sent me seven other parents looking for house for their children. It’s not always about the money you make on one sale that you should look at.”

@rats, That statement is so true.
It really IS common sense! I started doing this as a semi-retirement something to do thing along side of my other ventures and because I service all my clients the same way I am so busy I dont know what to do! I did almost 30 transactions last year and that is with doing no prospecting or “farming”. I did that while also continuing my coprp consulting and probably worked harder last year than a lot of years before I was “retired”.
I am not doing that this year. I have turned down numerous projects and will do a couple so I can give to Wounded Warriors, JDF, and a couple other charities at the same level that I have in the past. With the real estate, I am spending a lot of time mentoring a few new agents and actually giving them some of my clients to get them started. I am fortunate that I have and still do make very good income so since I am too stupid to quit, I will just give more away!
This just in: The right wing fringe leader of the NRA refuses to admit that gun background checks, etc. would be helpful. He wants to continue to put blood money in his pockets from the gun mfrs. Al Qaeda, the taliban, the drug cartels, and Al Capone immediately agreed with La Pierre and offered their support…
And of course the king rolls out the “they did it” billboard!
SHOCK: ECONOMY SHRINKS
GDP -0.1%…
Santelli: ‘We Are Now Europe’…
Job market booming at IRS…
DEMS: BEST LOOKING CONTRACTION YOU’LL EVER SEE…
Obama blames — Republicans!
@USA8888 OH yes I am sure Al Capone wouldnt be able to get his hands on a gun if they were banned or need a backround check. How did Al Capone become so famous, becaused we outlaw booze and he made $$$ boot legging/ smuggling the stuff.
Santelli wouldn’t know Europe if he saw it…
Defense cuts caused the contraction, not Obama…
@Ratboy
I’m just surprised by the number of kids that see myself and men and women our ages that are very good with this new tech stuff. Heck I had my new Andriod HD Phone figured out in 1 day, well OK 1 week
@AppleStinx
I’m waiting for the smily that look dizzy and its eyes roll around and looks like its about ready to pass out. I’d use my picture but I can’t animate it GIF style
Have a great evening, will be deep in study till I leave tonight.
Peace & Grace
The house bags continue to obstruct job creation and create uncertainty over the fiscal cliff and the debt ceiling…dragging the economy downward.
The GOP (Bush) created trillions of dollars of UNFUNDED DEBT–two wars, a drug program, and tax cuts..then Obama inherited the worst recession in history..
Right wingers–did you see where Fox’s ratings are the worst since 2001. See Mark’s note above…
Will La Pierre stop taking blood money from gun mfrs and paying lobbyists to argue absurd positions???
Obama had his stimulus and it didnt work but it wasnt his fault, he said unemployment would go down to 6% but it didnt abut it wasnt his fault, he said he would close gitmo but he didnt but it wasnt his fault, he had a boarder agent killed under his watch by our own guns but it wasnt his fault, he invested in Solyndra and we lost a half a billion but it wasnt his fault, he bailsed out GM and we stand to lose 30 billion bucks but its not his fault, he bailed out Chrysler to save the American auto industry but the Italians bought it but it wasnt his fault, we had 4 Americans killed in Bengazi but it wasnt his fault, the econimy is shrinking but it aint his fault….BUT enhanced interigation and ongoing intelligence led us to Osama and he was finally killed AND ……………….HE DID THAT!!!!!!!!
Some of the past editing done by msnbccc
As you can see, MSNBC decided to completely remove the portion of the video where Heslin asks his rhetorical question. Does that mean no one would have spoke up had Heslin not posed the question? That’s impossible to say. But what is clear is that by removing the full remarks, MSNBC cheated its audience of making up its mind about what the video shows. And although a relatively small edit, the absence of the question changes the context drastically.
MSNBC has been caught selectively editing video in the past, too. In June, host Andrea Mitchell aired a doctored clip of Mitt Romney talking about WaWa convenience stores to make him look “out of touch.” In reality, he was explaining the difference between innovation in the private and public sectors.
Then of course in March, NBC was busted selectively editing the George Zimmerman police tapes to make it appear as if he voluntarily proclaimed Trayvon Martin “looks black” when he was actually asked by a police dispatcher.
Finally, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough in September aired edited video of a Romney rally in which he argued supporters were chanting “Ryan! Ryan!” as Romney spoke, insinuating that he was being overshadowed by his running mate Paul Ryan. Romney then attempted to get the crowd to chant “Romney-Ryan! Romney-Ryan!” — Scarborough mocked Romney incessantly for his “failed” chant.
UPDATE 9:10 p.m. ET: CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Slate and even (kind of) Piers Morgan have conceded that Heslin was not really “heckled” during the hearing. Our friends at Twitchy have the details.
MSNBC, on the other hand, had yet to issue a correction as of Tuesday night. The network did later post the full video of Heslin’s testimony but did not clarify as to why it allowed such a deceptively edited clip to air on Bashir’s show.
–
UPDATE II: MSNBC is now reportedly “reviewing” the “heckling” tape aired on the network Monday, The Washington Post reports.
“We’re reviewing the video in question,” an MSNBC source said.
