   Those numbers are recorded if you have a ratings box to measure it, but even then, DVR viewing doesn’t not matter since people remove the commercials. The ratings really measure who’s watching the ads, not so much the shows. Ads are where the money is and if you’re not watching those, there’s no revenue.

   sorry @The End, I should have said continue to pay for; the cost oftimes seems to be the main criteria for Syfy, not the content of their shows, IMHO. Although I did like Merlin and they were nice enough to pay for us to see that.

   Totally off on the ratings for Dallas, I knew it was declining towards the end on season one, but for some reason I expected it to do as well or better than the season 1 finale. worst day guessing ratings ever.

   Dallas was great last night!!! I think the ratings will go up in coming weeks due to the approaching death of J.R. the show should have stayed on its old night. It had very little competition now has a lot of competition on Monday. It also should only air in the summer time it works there. Not in the winter! I think if it can hit a 1.0 or higher consistently it will be in excellent shape.

   Dallas premier last night was awesome. TNT should have promoted the show on CBS, after all most of their shows end up on TNT. I watched the Following last week. I loved Scream and thought it was well done. However the Following was so much like the Movie Scream, I decided I could not follow 14 weeks of serial killer protege genre. I am not surprised the Following second episode had a higher rating and a larger audience. Personally not in for animals being mutilated and some blonde, brunette going out the front door when she should be going out the back.
   I would rather watch DALLAS the Next Generation on TNT and escape from the brutality and the sensationalism of new show people are Following. I agree Dallas is more of a summer show, wished they would have left it that way.
   Dallas season Premier so much better than Revenge this year. I feel good that Dallas is safe because it is on cable.

    That’s not a good start for Dallas but on the bright side, I think Dallas was hovering in that area before the last season ended so maybe it will stay in that area. At least it still reached 3 million viewers, I know this is a demo site so if this had been sorted by viewers, Dallas would’ve been one of the most watched shows on cable last night. I think TNT should’ve had Dallas air on Tuesdays instead which is less crowded than Mondays are.

    For the WWE, their ratings have been up obviously b/c of The Rock and it being one of the annual highest rated shows of the year every year, the night after the Royal Rumble. They also finally beat their nemesis the last few years Pawn Stars.

    The problem with the WWE is, they make a lot of noise with their veterans but the younger stars have absolutely no presence on the show in drawing power and the overall product sucks. They can’t keep clinging to the stars they made before 2007 in the long-term. Vince needs to do an overall product change rather him and the shareholders like it or not.

    I am shocked at the Dallas ratings. I thought that compared to some other TNT shows Dallas got more promotions and advertisements but did about the same in demo. TNT can not be happy with that.

    Dallas is going to be alright, I think it would’ve been better off on Fridays or Sundays instead during the week.

    On the bright side the show is still really good in quality so either they will keep their fans or they will gain new ones throughout the summer or when it returns in the summer.

    The Who Shot JR should stunt the ratings up a bit in a month.

    It had very little competition then because it aired in the summer. If it aired on Wednesdays now, it would be against American Idol & Modern Family.

    Down 0.1 from last week. This is the second 0.4 rating in the past 4 episodes. Looks bleak.
