    Wow, The Following stayed high.

Don’t know what’s up with people not giving deception a shot its a pretty good show but after this I’m not sure about its future its not old enough for a cable network to be interested eventhough the show is suited for a cable audience instead of a brodcast channel. Hope it isn’t pulled from the line up though

I would be sad if 90210 was cancelled if it was still good…

The first season will always be the best and it slowly declined in quality ever since(just like Gossip Girl). I will of course still follow it til it ends but it just isn’t that great anymore.

It will still go down as one of my favorite shows ever just because I was so obsessed with that first season when it started.

  • GG

I gave up on Deception right after the pilot ended. The remaining 3 million are just generous viewers who are bored and giving it a chance. Goodbye to this show lol.

  • Lucas

Bones with 2.6? OH MY GOD! <3

  • Michael

Hurray for 90210! That is very exciting. Obviously everyone loves the first season the best, but I think the new exec producers are trying to bring it back to that quality. They are doing a good job so far. I hope it lasts for a few more seasons.

  • BigBrotherFan

-Atleast it’s scripted non reality mindless trash filler
    -It’s fun
-It will be canceled this week or moved to Saturdays. :(

Excellent numbers for The Following. Next week we find out just how big of a hit this show is to become when full competition kicks in.

  • MikeyM

That Carrie Diaries is a Hit.
Not. Bad idea from the get go.

  • Greg

Deception is doing really bad and with the best lead in NBC has currently available.

At the same time, there’s only 7 weeks left before Revolution returns, so I don’t think they’ll do much about it if the show doesn’t fall even further.

  • Kavyn

I really hope the CW tells 90210 to wrap it up so that we don’t have another half season.

  • Sammy01

Really pleased for Bones. Fox did the right thing renewing it early, so people can stay invested in it as they know there is at least another season to come. Plus it finally having something that is doing well paired with it is both great for Bones, The following and Fox.

Shame The following will only be a short season again next year, but I guess that will make it more of an event and hopefully keep its ratings up.

I expect both Bones and The following to drop next week, but if both drop .3 that still leaves them on very healthy numbers.

90210 still pathetic as ever. Even when the CW airs 90210 the “Series Finale” it will totally bomb! I was amazed at gossip girl getting a .8 (1.0 with dvr)for its series finale considering it was hitting .3/.4 in the beginning of season 6. But I don’t see the same for 90210 getting anywhere near a .8. These pathetic demos and even more pathetic viewers makes me wonder who is performing favors for a CW executive from the 90210 staff?!!!!

Fox must be extremely happy witn The Following and Bones as well. Bones hit a season high in demo 2.6 and The Following retained 100% of the first episode! After the first half of this season for Fox with Mob Doctor, horrible comedies The Mindy Project (why is this show even considered a bubble show?) as well as Ben and Kate. XFactor really started dropping along the Fall Season.

With AI on fully for Wednesday and at 8 on Thursdays, Bones improving, Glee up slightly with its leadin, and The Following retaining a healthy sized audience Fox should be happier right now then they probably have been since last season.

The Following will perform just as good next week against CBS next week, hopefully Bones does too.

A rise for The Following is definitely a good sign. Even if it drops a bit in the next couple weeks, it looks like the show will not drop precipitously – although there are still four episodes (out of the six that usually determines a show’s fate) to give it that chance. My guess at this point is that the show will drop only slowly and stabilize north of 2.5, meaning a second season will be likely if they don’t screw up later in the season.

I still predict Revolution ratings will crash – or at least start to crash – before it ends its season. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets a second season, though. But it won’t get a third, the show is just hideously bad.

  • Peggy02

I think The Carrie Diaries will be renewed more than 90210… It has a steady ratings and being backed up by good reviews from critics… 90210 doesn’t have any of those two…

  • Edward

RSH, despite your bizarre obsession, Revolution will be helped by The Voice audience plus some available audience from The Following. Plus no football competition and many weeks of repeat competition on ABC and CBS.

  • Richard Steven Hack

Edward: You may be correct. I’m just wondering when people will realize what a crap show it is, like they (eventually) did with Ringer. But as I said, it might well get a second season because it won’t crash far enough to be canceled before it ends its season.

Peggy02: The Carrie Diaries ratings suck for a first season show. It’s toast. Both it and 90210 should be canceled.

  • Ruan

Good for FOX, they won the night. And it wasn’t even an “American Idol” night!

The CW needs to cancel both “The Carrie Diaries” and “90210”. They’re disasters. The same for NBC’s “Deception”. I know that it’s Fan Excuse Bingo, but pairing a drama like that with “The Biggest Loser”? Really, NBC? They have nothing in common. Anyway…

I really want to see what’s going to happen when “The Voice”/”Revolution” return. I know that “Revolution” won’t affect FOX because of the time slot, but “The Voice” might.

I can’t wait for “Revolution” to return, by the way. The fall finale left us a fantastic cliffhanger. Although it is no “Fringe”, it’s a better-than-average show. It came a long way since that weak pilot. I’m glad I gave it a second chance. It’s really entertaining.

I’m pretty sure Deception and TBL have something in common – a heavily female audience.

Appereantly the cw makes a decision on 90210 soon so they can wrap everything up!
