Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Keeping in mind THE FOLLOWING was up against CBS repeats, this is still a solid showing. Hopefully it doesn’t lose very much next week.
THE FOLLOWING!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!! BEST NEW SHOW NEXT TO NASHVILLE!
Yay Bones!
I just wish it wasn’t because CBS had reruns.
THE FOLLOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew it!
Wow, The Following is not just doing great itself, it is really helping BONES!!
BONES!!!!!! Yahooooo
And The Following was ridiculously good. Glad it went up!
The Following rose? WOW. And Carrie Diaries didn’t? Uh oh.
Color me completely surprised about The Following. I don’t even think it should matter CBS was in reruns because growing from your premiere is just so rare.
Woah my prediction for TF was way off! 3.3 is great, especially for a great show! Glad TCD is steady, hopefully it will stay that way and get a second season, it’s so good!
Pretty good for the Following.
And Castle repeats pretty darn well.
The Following was amazing last night best new show this season!
Yikes 90210. CW has got to put it out of its misery already.
Will be interesting to see if CBS Comedies and Fox Serial Killer drama share any audience at all next week
The Following is just a great show period. I don’t see it falling much even when there’s competition.
LOL 90210, CW, time to end this nonsense.
At least the bleeding for Deception stopped. I was worried Dallas would be stiff competition for soap fans. Hope it’s able to air it’s full first season before begin cancelled.
I believe the new time slot is hurting 90210.
FOX really has something good going with The Following. The real test will come next week when CBS is back new. The CBS sitcoms will be super charged next week with lots of Super Bowl promotion on Sunday. I expect season highs next week for the CBS sitcoms. It will be interesting if The Following holds up against that very tough competition. If it holds up FOX has a new hit on its hands.
LMAO at 90210. This show became unwatchable
Awesome for The Following and Bones
Good for The Following. WOW at 90210. 0.3 is just ridiculous bad no way it will get renewed at these levels.
