Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    @ Dave

“Blink” from The CW seems to have a depressing premise, not sure if that will make it.

  • Cerebro

Like many of you, I was expecting the, inevitable, second episode drop for “The Following”. Surprised to see it go UP a tenth of a point (pre-adjustment). If it can remain stable, season 2 would be a no-brainer. Good for FOX. They needed a hit.

  • Petar Ivanov

We must wait until the Voice returns. Than we will have clear picture on mondays.

  • Jamie

It’s nice to see a new show go up for a change!

  • Dillan

    Ouch for 90210.

TCD holding steady and up in total viewers is a sign of hope that it might be renewed. I can definitely see a HoD/TCD pairing next season.

  • Dan

90210 needs to go. TCD will likely be cancelled. I know they invested a lot in that show but a 0.5 after only three episodes is a disaster of epic proportions.

  • K

Sucks the following is getting better numbers than Terra Nova did. Shows the intelligence of some viewers.

  • BlueSky

90210 – 0.3 and 0.76m viewer? just die already! oh, i really wish next week this show will get 0.2 or 0.1

TCD – this show ratings are pathetic! the next EOMD!

TF – great for TF, i like the show. but i think next week rating will slightly drop (0.2-0.4)

  • Mike

Happy about The Following. This show and Revolution are the best new shows this season.

  • MichaelChickless

I’m curious to see the cable numbers for Dallas last night.

  • Perdix

Looks like Fox will take over the #2 spot before March.

  • ariana osgood

Carrie Diaries is actually such a sweet show!

  • halloween

No chance TCD will be renewed

  • were123

YES! The Following is up :D

  • Carl

I haven’t watched Bones in years but the show just keeps on trucking. Good for them.

Whatever happened to that spinoff? I heard it was some type of production disaster but never heard about the rest.

  • Mon

We must wait until the Voice returns. Than we will have clear picture on mondays.

    I hope you are kidding.

  • Mi

If 90210 gets a finale season they should save it to the spring or summer but not next fall..

  • ddddddddddd

If Mark is smart, he’d cancel 90210 at the end of this season. Don’t even think about renewing it for a shorter season as well. It’ll probably pull in 0.2s or 0.1s.
