Univision Ranks #2 for the Entire Week among Adults 18-34

 

Network Ranks #1 among Adults 18-34 for the Fourth Consecutive Tuesday and Third Consecutive Friday

 

Univision is #1 on Tuesday and Friday among Adults 18-49

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of January 21 to January 27, 2013

  • For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked #2 among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC, NBC, and CBS.  Also, for the third consecutive Friday, the network ranked #1 on Friday among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49. 

 

  • On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Tuesday night, Univision rose to #1 among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34; top 15 Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #3 network among Adults 18-34 and #4 for Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34; top 15 Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and #4 for Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC in each demographic. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both demographics.

 

  • For the third consecutive Friday night, Univision ranked #1 among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 3 programs for both demographics.

 

  • Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked #2 among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in each demographic. “Sabado Gigante” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.7 Million, +15%), Adults 18-49 (1.2 Million, +19%), and Adults 18-34 (493,000, +12%).  Season to date, it was “Sabado’s” 2nd highest telecast among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49; 3rd for Adults 18-34.  Also, it ranked among the top 5 programs of the evening for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49; top 10 among Total Viewers 2+.

 

  • On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Unvision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which attracted 2.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 957,000 Adults 18-49, and 375,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  At 8 p.m. was the two-hour premiere of singing competition “Lo Que Mas Quieres” (Your Biggest Dream).  Hosted by renowned Mexican actress/singer Daniela Romo and featuring music stars Lupita D’Alessio and Susana Zabaleta as talent judges , “Lo Que Más Quieres” attracted 2.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.3 Million Adults 18-49, and 542,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  Following “Lo Que” at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) attracted 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 490,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Por Ella Soy Eva” (For Her, I’m Eva) helped Univision rank as the #2 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 for Adults 18-49.  “Por Ella Soy Eva” averaged 4.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.3 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.1 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Amores Verdaderos” (True Love) helped Univision rank as the #3 network among Adults 18-34 and #4 for Adults 18-49 for the hour (M-F).  “Amores Verdaderos” averaged 5.0 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.3 Million Adults 18-34.

 

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Amor Bravio” (Fierce Love) helped Univision rank as the #1 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 for Adults 18-49.  “Amor Bravio” averaged 3.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.0 Million Adults 18-49, and 904,000 Adults 18-34.
