Tweet of Yesterday — Michael Goldfarb: Borderline criminal that the press has let the Menendez scandal fester this long without any real attention–except mocking the Daily Caller

  • Coffee Steve

    @lbsles Congrats

@Rats I understand my friend, we have considered many times going to a warmer climate BUT, what USN won’t tell you is from May until Oct its brutal down there (Which I would someday move there and prove it to myself) :-)

The Burlington, Vermont City Council decided they knew what was best for the entire city, so they went and banned assault weapons.

After all, who needs them, right?

The owners of the Lamoille Valley Fish and Game Club disapproved, and since they were letting the police department train at their range for free, they were in a unique position to protest the move.

So the banned the police from their range.

After all, who needs them, right?

FBI is about to lower the boom on him, and when it happens the media will simply ignore it and say its a attack on him.

Jeff, since we are doing the quote thing…..let’s skip to the good stuff

Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.

Liberals, it has been said, are generous with other peoples’ money, except when it comes to questions of national survival when they prefer to be generous with other people’s freedom and security
There is an inverse relationship between reliance on the state and self-reliance

    William F. Buckley, Jr.

and yes, I can be an equal opportunity offender:
Conservative, n: A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from the Liberal who wishes to replace them with others.
    Ambrose Bierce

  • lbsles

Only a dumbocrat would believe this.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” the Center for American Progress’ Christie Hefner said that Chicago’s sky-high murder rate could be blamed — at least in part — on climate change.

“Yes, last year we hit a record number of murders from guns [in Chicago],” Hefner, the former chairwoman and chief executive officer of Playboy Enterprises, said. “And this year we are already outpacing last year’s numbers. Now, there are contributing factors that are not under anybody’s control and may seem odd, but it is factually true. One of them is actually the weather. There is a dramatic increase in gun violence when it is warmer. And we are having this climate change effect that is driving that.”

Report suggests Solyndra-like problems in federal nuclear power loan guarantee

The Obama administration’s approval of a federal loan guarantee for the construction of two Georgia nuclear reactors was met with applause from across the political spectrum, but new analysis reveals potential Solyndra-like problems facing the project.

“E-mails indicate periodic involvement by the Secretary of Energy on loans and loan terms, and by the White House and top levels of Department of the Treasury on other issues related to the Vogtle Project,” reads the analysis by Earth Track and Synapse Energy Economics, which was conducted on behalf of the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy and Friends of the Earth.

Earth Track and Synapse Energy Economics analyzed hundreds of documents obtained through multiple Freedom of Information Act requests.

Being in warm weather, I am having a hard time hiding my mil pro P111. I am worried that the outline is showing. Pain in the back side. Looking at a ankle holster but I hate those because it take to much time to draw, and what if I get robbed? Do I tell them, wait a minute while I tie my shoe?
