ibsles–if I were you, I would be embarrassed by making such idiotic comments..go back to Slimebaugh..
Hey, did you see Gayle Trotter, a lackey for right wing extremist NRA leader La Pierre, on the Lawrence O’Donnell show last night on MSNBC? She’s making up stories about a bunch of men attacking her house and saying that’s commonplace–of course, such a thing has NEVER happened…and she was called on her fabrication. It’s on you tube….Of course, it’s hard to defend the NRA’s defenseless position…
Some headlines then I have tyo get back to school a bit…
*Jobless claims rise sharply…
Syria: Israel Struck Military Site…
Russia: Unacceptable…
UN: Israel Must Withdraw From Judea…
IRANSYRIA THREATENS TO RETALIATE AGAINST ISRAEL
Could be a fun day

@Coffee Steve
I dont know what the price of a gal of diesel is there but I have not yet seen it drop since fall. It is still around $3.94….
Then, Gayle defaulted tot he NRA’s absurd 2nd Amendment position and that made no sense either. It was hilarious and it’s on MSNBC…
@USN
Just saw that
Gas has not went down much here either, for whetever reason diesel remains around 4 or higher, cheapest I have seen gas it at around 3.18 but average is higher around area

N.Y. Comptroller Trying to Force Disclosure of Political Spending by Corporations to Cut off Funding for Conservatives
New York state is quickly becoming ground zero in the fight over free speech and corporate political spending as a top state official with ties to left-wing campaign finance reform groups attempts to pressure private companies into making their political contributions public.
New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, who is the state’s top accountant and is spearheading the campaign, cites the importance of transparency.
Observers warn that “shareholder activism” in pursuit of political disclosure represents the first stage of coordinated intimidation campaigns against private companies conducted in the hope of discouraging them from donating to right-of-center nonprofit groups.
DiNapoli’s push is focused on major companies in which the state’s retirement fund is invested. DiNapoli, the fund’s sole trustee, wants those companies to disclose all of their political expenditures.

Sen. Ted Cruz Destroys Left-wing Gun Myths and Their Assault Weapons Ban at Gun Control Hearing (Video)

Late morning all.
Ibsles–love Cruz–worked hard on his campaign.
Do any of you know the difference between whiskey and bourbon? I didn’t. I am just in the process of making a Cajun bread pudding that calls for bourbon. All we have is whiskey so googled it and here is the difference:
history lesson: in order for bourbon to be called bourbon it has to come from Bourbon,Kentucky. if it doesnt come from that region it can’t be called bourbon. Jack Daniels doesn’t come from that region so it can’t call itself bourbon. So it calls itself Tennessee whiskey instead, but its actually bourbon.
Jack Daniels is bourbon, but its not allowed to call itself that.
Bet I was the only one on this site that didn’t know the difference.
Off to the grocery store–forgot I didn’t have any cinnamon.
@Mark2, you are so wrong. My brother has been a private fire arms dealer for years. From the 2012 Federal governments dealers handbook.
“any adaptation or modification to a gun that makes the weapon function as an automatic weapon makes the product illegal to sale and possess. Any gun that fires more than one bullet per trigger pull by the shooter is considered an automatic weapon.”
Bumper fire uses the recoil of the gun to shot again. The trigger is not being pulled by the shooter. There for multiple shots for the one trigger pull by the shooter.
The Bumper fire is legal to sale but it is illegal to put it on the rifle. It’s illegal to sale or possess in seven states.
Can you provide a link from the Federal Government that states it’s legal to place a bumper fire on a rifle? Sorry, but I trust the Government handbook more then someone I don’t know. So, I need a link for the Government before I believe you.
(Red states by the murders are mostly in blue districts)
I know you don’t care about why murder rates are high in states. It only matters to you that they are red. The high murder rates in states 1-4 and 5, 6 are all related to drug and gun trafficking. Illegal guns are coming into the states from Latin American.
But hey it doesn’t matter that it’s illegal guns for foreign countries that are doing the killing. It only matters that its guns and they are red states. You have learned so much from the liberal media and democrats, you must be proud of yourself.
Did worry about the real cause of a problem, blame it on gun loving conservatives and ban the gun, and let the problems remain.
The right wing fringe continues to live in a delusionary world and fringe like Cruz are only believed by a small minority on the right. That’s why the American people (90%) and 80% of NRA members want background checks, whicht the extremist led NRA management does not….
The gun control solution is common sense except to those on the far right who have none………….
Didn’t you get the GOP memo Rat…..?
Not supposed to call “them” illegals anymore!

I sit on my testicles……………………A LOT!
@ Cathy–interesting stats on gun violence in states by ethnic divides. Not politically correct but interesting. The same is not seen in Texas. Some thoughts are–Texans are heavily armed and the death penalty is a deterrent.
The right wing NRA management has OPERATIONALLY defined assault rifle to mean what it wants it to mean. The fact is, however, AR-15′s are weapons of mass murder, firing almost as fast as a machine gun. They are certainly not needed for hunting nor for any reason even remotely associated with the 2nd Amendment. The far right fringe continues to defy the American people’s wishes as the corrupt management of the NRA continues to put blood money its pockets…
Good Morning Coffee! You speak from experience it sounds….no wonder you are always in a good mood
We have a maid and gardeners that comes twice a week. The Car cleaner comes once a week, but I’m always in a foul mood.
So there goes that silly theory…..eh?
