    @ usnretiredx2
Did Hagel just imply we (the US) gave Israel the Iron Dome system?

The initial funding and development of the Iron Dome system was provided and undertaken by Israel.[27] This allowed for the deployment of the first two Iron Dome systems.[28] Subsequently, funding for an additional eight Iron Dome systems—along with funding for a supply of interception missiles—is currently being provided by the United States, with two of these additional systems having been delivered by 2012.[28] Funding for the production and deployment of these additional Iron Dome batteries and interceptor missiles was approved by the United States Congress, after being requested by President Obama in 2010.[29] In May 2010, the White House announced that U.S. President Barack Obama would seek $205 million from U.S. Congress in his 2011 budget, to spur the production and deployment of additional Iron Dome batteries.

Obama’s Jobs Council Shutting Down Thursday

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama will let his jobs council expire this week without renewing its charter, winding down one source of input from the business community even as unemployment remains stubbornly high.

Now That GDP Is Contracting, Bloomberg’s Editors Decide That It’s ‘An Imperfect Measure of Progress’

This is so pathetic and predictable, you could almost set your watch to it.

Just ten hours after a government report showed that the economy went into contraction for the first time in three years during 2012’s fourth quarter, an item penned “by the editors” at Bloomberg News appeared which scolded us that the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP) is an “imperfect measure of progress,” and that we really should be looking at indicators of “social progress or human happiness.” As usual, when things go bad in Leftyland, the problem is the yardstick, not what’s being measured.

Coffee, good morning. I don’t like cod. But if cod increases it’s likely to cease an increase in many other types of fish.

@Ratboy, This is very important. My sons’ roommate is from Panama. He wants to go sledding. Do you happen to know of a good place within an hour of Ann Arbor?

I have to say something. It’s not really fair to talk about the low number of murders in Alaska. Since 1988 over 60,700 people have gone missing in Alaska. Also there is proof that many criminals flew to Alaska because it is an easy place to hide.

Nice of jeffiee poo poooo to think he’s a 1%

“We have a maid and gardeners that comes twice a week. The Car cleaner comes once a week, but I’m always in a foul mood.

So there goes that silly theory…..eh?”

As Ratboy would say “Can’t fix stupid”.

@Ratboy, This is very important. My sons’ roommate is from Panama. He wants to go sledding

The Huron Hills Golf Course, 3465 E. Huron River Drive, is the mother of all sledding hills in Ann Arbor

North side: Leslie Park (off Dhu Varren) has a sledding hill

    7660 Stony Creek Rd.

history lesson: in order for bourbon to be called bourbon it has to come from Bourbon,Kentucky. if it doesnt come from that region it can’t be called bourbon. Jack Daniels doesn’t come from that region so it can’t call itself bourbon. So it calls itself Tennessee whiskey instead, but its actually bourbon.

But, but, Jack is the best

  • cathy

@Ibsles 1%? You don’t have to be in the 1% to have a maid, a gardener, or car cleaner. Heck in Ypsilanti, MI if you make less than $32,000 a year, you can enroll in a federal program that provides you with house cleaning and yard services for free.

To those enjoying warmer weather and “cool” wind on their cheeks: blow, blow Seminole wind, blow like you’re never gonna blow again.

More illegals = More unemployment Our politicians should focus on WHAT IS BEST FOR OUR COUNTRY NOT WHAT IS BEST FOR ILLEGAL PEASANTS. Reject Amnesty.. Amnesty = loss of sovereignty / culture / language Any questions?

  • Doug Z

Nice attempt at a positive spin Reuters, but let’s look objectively. Jobless claims up 11%, incomes rising for those that are working and planned layoffs increasing. But the Ministry of Propoganda will hardly say a word about this, instead concentrating on amnesty for illegals, gay marriage amd gun bans for law abiding citizens. Anyone see a socialist agenda, with the economy and jobs on the back burner?

  • Doug Z

BHO has it all under control

Gross domestic product—the broadest measure of goods and services churned out by the economy—fell at a 0.1% annual rate in the fourth quarter of 2012, according to the government’s initial estimate out Wednesday.
