   @She was a intern in White House. It wasn’t him cheating on his wife but taking advantage of a very young co-worker.

   Perhaps……….

   But in the court of public opinion the GOP were way out of line and were punished in the elections…..also the fact that Barr and Hyde were cheating on their wives as that sat in judgement of President Clinton.

   BTW, Bill did cheat on his wife…..are you crazy???

   Your statement of the BJ shows that you only listen to the liberal spin. One if an executive of a company would have taken advantage of a worker below them, they would have lost their job. But secondly and most importantly Bill Clinton lied under oath. The BJ wasn’t the big deal to the Republican. Lying under oath was and that’s why Clinton lost his law license.

   If Lewinksy had issues with what happened and filed a complaint fine, Clinton would have deserved to be impeached, but the way the Republicans went on a witch hunt to find any reason to bring Clinton down on taxpayers money was both ridiculous and more importantly a huge waste to tax payers money

   Just as bad as wasting money on the tax payers dime, did the Republicans ever think one bit how Lewinsky felt about this? If she didn’t want to do anything about what happened they shouldn’t have forced her to be publically embarrassed infront of the entire world against her wishes.

   Jeff is a funny guy. He’s just your average liberal. He’ll believe anything he reads about conservatives.

   Jeffie, in the air or not it’s a federal crime to scream and go nuts on a plane. Every flight has a U.S. Marshal on it now. And she would have been arrested for those type of actions.

   I think it might have been asking a bit too much to ask an intern to willingly file a complaint or testify against the most powerful man in the world, even moreso after she saw how other women who alleged something were treated

   James Carville was a great spin man. Again he lied under oath. They went after him because he lied under oath. He was impeached for committing a crime while being the President. Perjury is a crime. It was all about the lie.

   James Carville told you it was about Clinton chasing skirts and that’s what you wanted to hear. The liberal media want with that line and you liberals still believe it to this day.

   But hey it’s just perjury.

   This just in from Lawrence O show: he interviewed the right wing woman pushing assault weapons in the Senate hearings today and really ripped her a new one. You right wingers have got to see this. At the same time, Greta was making a big deal out some prostitution story she thought would appeal to her right wing audience. I prdict Greta and hannity will be gone by year’s end.

    @Bobbyv, We are wasting our time. Bill didn’t use his power to influence her into doing anything. She was just fresh out of college, got her dream job at the White House and the President paid special attention to her.

    Every large company has rules against having relations with workers below them. Many executives have lost their jobs because of it, even without the other worker claiming. But it’s wrong to hold our President up to that type of standard.

    All of these wide eye young hopeful interns go to Washington, D.C. every year and many learn the hard way how sexually free our politicians are.

    That is the thing, I think the President should be judged at a higher standard, not a lower one. I think Mark agrees that BC’s behavior was inappropriate, he just also feels the R’s were going to keep after him until they found something.

    I was just starting to at least pay attention to politics then and it drove me crazy how people were defending him no matter what, especially groups like NOW who you think would side with the women. They were much quicker to defend Anita Hill

    I see it as more stretching the truth compared to lieing(when asked if he had any relations with Lewinsky he said depends what you mean by relations).

    As I said it was a waste of time and money to investigate it plain and simple and shouldn’t have been investigated in the first place. Basically the Republicans were throwing everything and the kitchen sink to try find a reason to humiliate Clinton(whitewater, lewinsky, etc) and at the end all they could find against Clinton was he was trying to play word games about something that had absolutely no effect on the country and they consider that perjury. Simple fact was their was absolutely no reason for the bj to be investigated other then political pettiness and while it was obvious Clinton was trying to spin his way out of it by playing up the definitions and meanings of words, the whole process was pointless

    I think people like Hannity or Rush hurt the republican party because they turn into the republican boogie man(ie see this is how Republicans think) that the left can easily villianize. the fact that nobody int he party has the guts to stand up to them gives them more of a voice for what the party stands for then it should basically.
