New York, NY – January 30, 2013 – Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner (“Django Unchained”) Christoph Waltz makes his SNL hosting debut on February 16. Waltz received an Oscar, SAG and Golden Globe award, among many others, for his performance in “Inglorious Basterds” in 2009. Joining Waltz is Alabama Shakes, making their musical guest debut. The rock band recently received three 2013 Grammy Award nominations, including Best New Artist, for their critically acclaimed album “Boys & Girls.” SNL returns on February 9 with Justin Bieber pulling double duty as host and musical guest for his first time. "Saturday Night Live" is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels. |
