“Pretty Little Liars” (8:00 – 9:00 p.m.)
Gaining key viewers for the 2nd consecutive week, “Pretty Little Liars” ranked as Tuesday’s #1 TV telecast for the 4th straight week in Females 12-34 (1.83 million/4.0 rating) and Female Teens (791,000/6.7 rating), and was the #1 cable TV telecast in Adults 18-34 (1.22 million/1.8 rating), Women 18-34 (1.03 million/3.0 rating), Women 18-49 (1.28 million/2.0 rating) and Viewers 12-34 (2.06 million/2.2 rating).
“Pretty Little Liars” was Tuesday’s #1 ‘most social program’ across all of TV according to SocialGuide, with 623,439 tweets (25.1 share) and 266,649 uniques (22.7share).
- At 8 o’clock, “Pretty Little Liars” was easily TV’s #1 telecast in Women 18-34, Viewers 12-34 and Females 12-34, cable TV’s #1 telecast in Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49 and Women 18-49, and was the #1 scripted cable TV telecast in Total Viewers (2.85 million).
- Season to date, “Pretty Little Liars” is pacing for its best season on record in Adults 18-34 (1.24 million/1.8 rating), Women 18-34 (1.05 million/3.1 rating), Adults 18-49 (1.57 million/1.2 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.31 million/2.0 rating).

Posting its 2nd straight week of increases across all demos, “The Lying Game” qualified as cable TV’s #1 scripted telecast at 9 o’clock in Women 18-34 (506,000/1.5 rating), Viewers 12-34 (903,000/1.0 rating) and Females 12-34 (831,000/1.8 rating), and stood as the #1 original scripted cable TV telecast in Women 18-49 (660,000/1.0 rating).
For the 2nd week in a row, “The Lying Game” ranked as Tuesday’s #2 scripted cable TV telecast in Women 18-34 and Females 12-34, behind only “Pretty Little Liars.”
- “The Lying Game” generated week-to-week growth across key demos, including by 6% in Total Viewers (1.36 million vs. 1.28 million) and by 7% in Women 18-49 (660,000 vs. 619,000)
Looks like TLG hit a 0.6. Good that it went up in total viewers too.
It should get the season 2 backorder.
TLG will survive due to Bunheads certain cancellation.

0.6 doesn’t sound very good following a 1.2 to me…hope it doesn’t get cancelled…
I’ve always thought that expecting people to watch a show just because it airs after another show is kind of unrealistic.

I wish TLG could at least hit a regular 0.7-0.8. 0.6 is just poor with that lead in.

Male demos are much much smaller.
If ABCFamily decided on shows renewals and cancellations on how much it loses from its lead in, TLG wouldn’t have got a second season.
As long as it beats Bunheads and doesn’t fall below a 0.5, a season 2 backorder will happen.

Is Pretty Little Liars down or up from last episode? I hope PLL gets picked up for a 4th Season, I love the so much.

I am almost forty and can’t miss one episode of PLL. Is that cause to be concerned?
The lying game already has season 2b renewal, they renewed it sure 20 episodes last year, not ten.
Heh, I’m in my sixties and I watch PLL religiously. Those girls are hot! Even their mothers are hot!
My two favorites are Troian and Shay, Troian because she’s the “smart one” with the most attitude, and Shay is the “angsty one” who’s gay. The show remains compelling even though the plots have become incredibly complex and we’re still no closer to who is REALLY behind the “A team”.
Well, all the liars’ actresses are in their twenties so it’s not that weird.
Except the dead girl Alison, who is currently still years away from being legal. She was barely a teenager when the show started, which makes it gross given all the grown men her character is said to have been with.
I love the fact how new layers are always added to the storylines on Pretty Little Liars that make you go, “hmmm, I didn’t see that coming”. I’m an adult male who hooked on the show because of a younger cousin and i can NOT miss an episode!

Where the heck are you reading that? The Lying Game got renewed for 10 episodes(2A).If it does well enough they’ll order a back 10.

With how The Lying Game has been performing it will get the other half of the season. The show is so good.. way better then Ringer was. And Alexandra Chando is great.. shes going to do bigger things soon.
Both shows were really good on Tuesday night. They both had good twists in them.
