Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@Why did NBC give Parenthood a short season. Dateline sure won’t do as well?
That is a good question. Why NBC put soapy deception on Monday at 10 and not some action drama is better question. A lot of questions NBC.
Whitney should do well tonight without competition from The Middle
DECEPTION LOOKS GREAT FOR NBC NOW.
DO NO HARM.. HOW LOW WILL THAT DO? I SAY 1.5
I like Vegas only for Sarah Jones MIGHTY FINE LADY THERE! C’mon though, people..That show costs a ton of money to produce and with these numbers I don’t see it coming back. Maybe if it was in the low 2′s.
It’s funny that Emily Owens wipes the floor with 90210 but it’s already been canceled.
WHOEVER SAID HOD IS A ONE NOTE SHOW I HAVE TO AGREE! I LOVE IT but I’m so sick of the ZADE crap. Yeah! They should be together but they are really running in circles with this and I’m getting tired of it! They had something interesting going on with RUBY..BRING HER BACK! Lemon is pure annoying now and that actress is real hot but her plot sucks now. I was loving the cat fights between the smokin’ Ruby and the prim and proper babe LEMON!
Ccc, only 3 more people.Secondly, demo is what matters not total viewers and Dixie has had 0.5_0.6 to Emilys 0.3_0.4.Also, Emilys cancelled, its ratings dont matter anyway.
@NeNe Leaks
HA! Okay, sure! Tell ya what Babe, tell MURPHY to cut out the preachy crap and I’ll tune back in just for you!
I am not that worried for The New Normal. It could be a filler next year (a gay themed shows always looks good on your schedule) or it could be picked up by another network (if NBC cancels it). I don’t think Ryan Murphy will let his tv-autobypogrhy die so soon
With all the people he knows, it should be relatively easy to find a new home (probably cable) for TNN.
autobiography* i typed it really bad lol
@Rob60990
How is New Girl lead in dependent? It got a 2.5 without a good lead in and it was higher than last week and I think it had a lead in then.
new girl is soo overrated, only good actors in there are schmit and winston tbh. zooey deschannel is a funny actress but shes not emmy funny. they should of replaced her emmy slot with martha plimpton from raising hope last year. hope dixie goes up.
BigBrother, total viewers dont matter ,only demo and this week Emily ties 90210 at 0 4.Also ,Emily has been 0.3 a few times but not 90210(in the finals).
i believe this is the 3rd week in a row that Vegas has topped the 11MM viewer mark. Hope CBS gives it another chance.
@JacobYates
Because CBS (like other networks) doesn’t base renewal decisions on one episode’s rating alone.
@Kenneth The Page
Univision. Spanish broadcast network.
Stop with RIP Happy Endings.
Sony are going to sell sell sell that show and get it another season
NOOOOOO Go On !
@TV#1
“NBC needs to take Go On and The New Normal off their schedule untill The Voice returns.”
This so much.
Can we just stop please with crying about TNN. Even with TV is hit a 1.3 and 1.4. It’s not funny and the acting is bad.
On to a bigger question, why would Fox want a show that’s pulling a 1.1?
@BigBrotherFan
Define a ton of money. Do you have the budget in your hands right now? Can you tell me how much money Vegas costs and the average cost for a drama?
Welcome to Comedy Slaughter Night Tuesday! what a bloodbath! Take no consolation for Vegas, against repeats, it managed only a 1.9?? cancel it already
Vegas did better because of weak competition. It always draws 10 million plus seems like that should warrant renewal. This is not a show that will draw the young viewers.
Seems like whatever ABC puts on at 10 get around 1.2 or so. If BOP can get that up to 1.5 that may be enough to stick around.
