The Chew-GH duo is a winning combination for ABC. Better than the AMC/OLTL/GH trio. And better than the Chew/Revolution/GH trio.

    ABC shouldn’t cancelled either show.

  • Jeff

Good for GH and daytime TV in general.

  • Browner

Daytime in general seems to be surging back right now and the soaps which were dead not that long ago have seen a new life.

I think the carrier of the lineup is GH, without GH’s turn around this lineup would be struggling right now.

As for AMC and OLTL I would like to see ABC syndicate them which gives the affiliates a chance to place the soaps anywhere on the schedule.

praise god abc made the right choice in axing amc and oltl and bringin the chew good ratings and cheaper to produce cbs and abc daytime is doing well

  • rob60990

It’s not surprising a lot of daytime shows were up last week. The weather was so frigid in most of the country. If they would have aired on MLK day, the gains would have been even bigger.

  • Sean

    GO GH!!!!

  • GH fam

Dreadful decision to end OLTL. Don’t miss AMC–well, a little. The Chew is silly and that name is disgusting. Bring back OLTL?

  • robert sprague

give us back bobbi ron and frank us fans want her on the show we want Jackie Jackie Jackie on gh

  • Lalo

If ABC could bring AMC and OLTL reboots back for a single hour their lineup would be killing even more in the ratings.

  • Jason

I agree with you Lalo. ABC should reclaim the hour it gave back to its affiliates and air the AMC and OLTL reboots there. AMC and OLTL would be back on ABC without interfering on The Chew. This wouldn’t negatively impact Katie either since her show is syndicated anyway.

    1:00pm The Chew
    2:00pm GH
    3:00pm AMC/OLTL
    4:00pm Syndication (including Katie)
