   ibsles comments about MSNBC and voter suppression are as ridiculous as the tenets of the far right GOP–nobody but Slimebaugh ilk would believe it. It’s almost as absurd as the false advertising the GOP ran against Obama claiming he was not for the middle class and Robme and Lian Ryan were—I mean who would believe that except someone with an 80 IQ who listens to Slimebaugh????

   Hey–Slimebaugh listeners—the GOP is giving its members lessons on how to talk about women, rape and things like that….you remember the GOP is the DINOSAUR PARTY which is waging a WAR ON WOMEN and they agreed with the comments of “legitimate rape” made by one of their right wing bozos. Well, now, the GOP does not want to change their TENETS regarding women (tenets which are completely erroneous); they just want to change they WAY THEY TALK ABOUT WOMEN (window dressing)……

   Really? O’Reilly has lost a million viewers a week? I didn’t know he had 55 million viewers a year ago….Wow, MSNBC can’t get 55 million viewers if you add up all their viewers for a whole month and a half!

   I’ve read the Consumer Report article on the Affordable Care Act, &, feel you’ve slanted their reporting . It does make a couple of corrections , though. What interested me the most the worker who $35,000 a year & was concerned about how he was going to pay for his insurance. He was told to go to Kaiser Family Foundation online for an idea of his cost. The writer said if he was a 40 year old single male , he could qualify for a $98 subsidy . There were different plans . If he took a lower silver plan , he would be paying an additional $277 a month. That could be a squeeze for this person.

   Some families to be priced out of health overhaul

   IRS regulations issued Wednesday failed to fix a glitch problem as liberal backers of the president’s plan had hoped.

   The Obama administration says its hands were tied by the way Congress wrote the law. Officials said the administration tried to mitigate the impact. Families that can’t get coverage because of the glitch will not face a tax penalty for remaining uninsured, the IRS rules said.
   Bruce Lesley, president of First Focus, an advocacy group for children, cited estimates that close to 500,000 children could remain uninsured because of the glitch. “The children’s community is disappointed by the administration’s decision to deny access to coverage for children based on a bogus definition of affordability,” Lesley said in a statement.

   The problem seems to be the way the law defined affordable.

   So if the employer isn’t willing to chip in for family premiums _ as most big companies already do _ some families will be out of luck. They may not be able to afford the full premium on their own, and they’d be locked out of the subsidies in the health care overhaul law . Employers are relieved that the Obama administration didn’t try to put the cost of providing family coverage on them.

   I guess I am a little confused. The only reason that ppeole watch The Five is because of Bob Beckel and some female leg. He gets 2.3 million viewers at 5 in the afternoon on a right leaning station BUT……….MSNBC, a left leaning station cnat get HALF of that with their TOP personality at 9 pm in the middle of primetime???????? And oh yea FOX sucks?????

   Yep that makes PERFECT sense!!! GOOD job Mark2!! Another intellectual HOMERUN!!

    Bobby–the GoP used to be a good party, but recently they have been taken over by Kooks who are against modern economics, women, Social Security, Medicare, birth control, the EPA, the Federal Reserve, etc. This is unlike anything we have seen and their right wing GOP ideas are BAD for this country. Bobby–they have power because they have MONEY from right wingers like the Koch Bros and Adelson, even though their tenets are erroneous. the right wing is able to run a ton of FALSE ADVERTISING in an effort to dupe people, especially in light of the recent bad Supreme Court decision. It didn’t work in the last election.

    d.d.–the healthcare costs that the GOP is content with are completely unsustainable. It’s a good thing Obama had the insight to do somethig about these costs (and coverages)….

    Fox continues its ratings slide. They have the lowest ratings in 13 years. And they continue to attract really old viewers with dinosaur right wing thinking.
    Slimebaugh wants a “unique American culture”–say what? This dinosaur thinker is typical of the right wing GOP and the reason it is fading from the scene. Oh, slimebaugh continues suckering the right and making millions, but his thinking has become anachronistic.

    Hey dummy, if that was even close to true, then MSNBC is REALLY in trouble, because more young people are watching Fox than MSNBC…And no, Fox news is not at a 13 year low….not even close…in fact, O”reilly has run an average of 2 million viewers until recent times, when he is now running 2.5 million to 3 million…atleast if you are going to lie, make the lie atleast slightly realistic..

    News Flash to you, since 100% of the NRA membership procured there weapons legally they had background checks to buy there weapons. The ONLY people that do not require background are private sells which are a one number percentage of the overall gun sells in the US.

    Now how about supporting the laws we already have and bust the straw man buys and bad vendors instead of making new laws that do nothing to stop them…….

    Stan T–It’s obvious you flunked arithmetic in school–you have to look percentages, not just absolute numbers. And even with absolute numbers, Fox has its worst ratings since 2001. Go read Mark’s explanation of this.. and elucidate yourself….

    I had a talking parakeet when I was a kid…we put him in the outside bird cage and he caught pneumonia and died…think we can put usa in the outside cage? lol
