   I thought The Americans did better than that from the press release? Either way, its a pretty good rating but it’ll probably drop next week.

   Solid premiere for The Americans, especially when you include the reruns and consider it was 98 minutes long.

   No MAX is a person that thinks Total Viewers matter. AHS did way better than that in the demo on average.

    very good for the americans. great pilot and excited to see where it goes in the future. as long as it does 0.8 or above and word-of-mouth is good, i think it’s safe and FX will let it grow.

    Who cares if AHS had a higher demo. The Americans still had an impressive debut for an FX drama series

    Necessary Roughness – Same weak 0.6 demo as last week, but down a half million viewers. No way does this show survive with under 2 million viewers. I really feel let down by the way USA let this program slip into mediocrity.

    The Americans press release combined the 10pm premiere and the 11pm encore for a 4.7 mil number. Still, a very good start for it.

    No Kroll Show again in Top 100. Can’t believe CC renewed that terrible show.

    The Americans had a solid start I thought it would do better though, maybe Chicago Fire affected it.

    Hot in Cleveland is holding up well.

    I saw Whitney’s talk show on E! the last couple of weeks and its really funny. Her castmate on Whitney Chris D’elia is too funny.

    Good start for the Americans, I’m not sure what ratings FX was expecting because the concept isn’t going grab a lot of viewers at first but I can see this show growing through word of month like AHS S1 did. Skews kind of old by FX standards but at least it didn’t bomb massively like Terriers and Lights Out which were both dead on arrival.

    For an FX premiere those ratings aren’t really that impressive I would definitely be worried for the show. Hopefully the viewership will stay the same and not decrease over time.
