American Idol and Chicago Fire were each adjusted up a tenth while Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials was adjusted down a tenth versus the preliminary Wednesday broadcast ratings.

SPN was a fairly decent episode last night. I was hoping for more interest in Grandpa Winchester.
Both shows will definitely be down, but TBBT will beat Idol easily in the common half hour. Depends on 2.5 Men if it wins the whole thing, but it managed to do so even with Rob if I remember correctly.
Prediction: TBBT 5.7, Idol 4.8.
I’m a bit surprised that Chicago Fire is catching on as well as it has.
One bad night for Arrow, and the people are already in panic…
A one week result does not a trend make…. What if next week (or whenever a new episode airs) the show goes back above a 1.0…
This up and downs from week to week can be nothing more than the normal fluctuations inherent in the measurement error of the Nielsen system…
In fact, the last 5 weeks Arrow has been avg. about a 1.04 in the demo and 3.122M viewers….

Does anybody know if there were preemptions due to the high winds and storms? We lost power in our area three times yesterday for a total of five hours. Some of that was during primetime.

LOL! Hey, anything to distract from the fact that Arrow still averages almost three times Nikita’s demo and audience.
Arrow keeps getting preempted by college basketball in our area. I don’t think it has played on a Wed except once out of the last 5 episodes so I wonder if that can affect the numbers, since even since it is just regional, that is still one region not viewing it?
All show’s tend to dip around mid-season. I don’t Arrow has anything to worry about, it’ll probably go back up to 1′s next week.
Prediction for tonight:
TBBT: 6.1
2.5 Men: 4.2
IDOL: 4.3
Anyone else think TVD will be hit with both AI and TBBT too? I’m predicting a 1.0 for TVD.

So glad Chicago Fire seems to have found a bottom high enough to keep it alive. As more people see it, I hope to see it grow throughout next season. My favorite network show in years.
Wow, Nikita lovers bashed Arrow for getting a 0.9 yet they celebrated last week because Nikita got a 0.5 without competition? That makes sense.
I think Idol will still get a 5.0. It’s actually pretty good, each episode gets better.
No opinions on The Office numbers or POI?
