I name this one the BEST of the night!!! Being born and raised on a farm and having it in my blood and in memory of Shorty! (I am assuming that he is no longer with us
)
@Rats
Not Curt Flood, but I did go fishing with A-Rod there

I was referring to Shorty from here.
I know Paul harvey died and it was a huge loss to broadcasting! I do not know if his son still is doing the rest of the story or not. He was the one that did most of the research for that segment.
Letmethink,
BevAG had a long post in early January (I believe) . She was heading toward Knoxville & eastern TN for one month. She hasn’t had the best weather. I wonder what she did with her dogs?
As far as I know, she hasn’t made it to Texas yet.
d.d. wrote: “Letmethink, Ask Apple for help on BevAg…”
As far as I can tell, BevAg is not the same “Bev” who Hillbilly used to date. In his unauthorized autobiography, at the end of chapter 3, Bev gave Hillbilly an ultimatum that left him without friends for a long time. He used to party non-stop and Bev told him in no uncertain terms what he had to give up to stay with her…

Is it not frustrating arguing with Libs when they try to blame every effort to revive the economy on the majority in the house,yet the Dem Senate which has been in the majority since 2007 didnt pass a budget in years.Someone should tell these constitutionally challenged folks that the Presidents party has held at least 2/3 of the legislative branch for over 6 years.

Wanna bet we help fund it???????
Bin Laden Town Abbottabad Plans Theme ParkPakistani officials say plans for an amusement park and zoo are nothing to do with Osama bin Laden but aimed at promoting tourism.1:51pm UK, Monday 04 February 2013 The compound where Osama bin Laden was found has been knocked down
EmailPlans to build a £19m amusement park in the town where Osama bin Laden was killed by US special forces have been revealed.
The 50-acre site on the edge of Abbottabad would include a zoo, adventure sports facilities, restaurants and artificial waterfalls.
Officials in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province hope the project will boost tourism but denied it was intended to improve the town’s image after the bin Laden raid.
The al Qaeda terrorist was killed by US Navy Seals at his compound in the town on May 2, 2011.
“The amusement city will be built on 50 acres in the first phase but later will be extended to 500 acres,” Syed Aqil Shah, the provincial minister for tourism and sports, said.
Ya know? When the lights went out last night at the Dome, If I was CBS and the NFL I would have played the dandy Don Song “Turn Out The Lights”
(This is only for all us old Monday Night Football junkies)

Panetta, Dempsey to testify on Libya attack
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Senate Armed Services Committee says Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will testify on Thursday about the deadly assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya last September.
The Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
Republicans have pressed for Obama administration officials to testify on the raid. Hillary Rodham Clinton, then secretary of state, defended the administration in her appearance last month.
The testimony by Panetta, who is stepping down, could be his last on Capitol Hill. President Barack Obama has nominated former two-term Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel to replace him, a choice that has faced GOP opposition.
