   Hillary’s Dismal Record At State

   The media spin is that she has been an excellent Secretary of State. But its just spin.

   Look at the record:

   • Chavez now controls Argentina, Bolivia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Ecuador as well as Venezuela and has big influence in Brazil. He is providing a base for Iran to move into the hemisphere.
   • Russia has become more repressive and aggressive. Democracy advocates are more subject to arrest and torture and nothing has come of the “reset” except more appeasement.

   • The Ukraine has drifted closer to Russia and further away from the West.

   • Iran is much closer to having the bomb and likely using it against Israel.

   • We’ve lost Egypt and Islamist power is sweeping the Arab world. The singular achievement of American Mid East diplomacy over the past fifty years — the Camp David Accords — are being undone as we speak.

   • North Korea gets ever more brazen, has become a nuclear power, and now has put a satellite into orbit.

   • China still weakens its currency making our products too expensive there and theirs’ cheaper here. And it launches cyber attacks against institutions like the New York Times with total impunity.

   • The Islamist offensive in sub-Sahara Africa gains momentum.

   • Afghanistan is no closer to putting down the Taliban, is still one of the most corrupt of the world’s governments, and Pakistan’s collaboration with al Qaeda grows more and more evident.

   And then there’s Benghazi. The cover-up — dressing the terrorist attack up as a demonstration over a movie gone wrong — disgraces her tenure. It was a transparent attempt to sweep an issue under the rug to help Obama get re-elected.

   The press corps that follows Hillary around the world is unanimous in praising her. They are her captives. Covering Hillary is their full time assignment. If they annoy her, they are frozen out on the plane and can’t do their jobs. Sycophancy alone is tolerated.

   Has Hillary been a good Secretary of State? Look at the record.

    Once upon a time we had a Mark 1 then along came another Mark. The first one got their panties in a wad. Then Mark 2 sprang up. Who knows who is who, they surely don’t know anything.

    At least that is what I remember and I’m sticking to it.

    IRS: Parents Must Pay Federal Fine for Uninsured Kids

    Well, Obama does believe that babies are a form of punishment. What did you expect?

    In new, final regulations issued Wednesday, theInternal Revenue Service (IRS) said that parents must pay a federal fine under Obamacare if their children or dependent spouses are uninsured for any part of the year.

    The regulations clarify provisions of Obamacare that seem to say that a parent will be held liable for Obamacare’s individual mandate penalty if they don’t have insurance coverage for their children.

    In its final regulations, the IRS states that parents will be made to pay the penalty (called a “shared responsibility payment”) if they can claim an uninsured child or spouse as a dependent, regardless of whether they actually claim them or not.

    “The proposed regulations clarify that a taxpayer is liable for the shared responsibility payment imposed with respect to any individual for a month in a taxable year for which the taxpayer may claim a personal exemption deduction for the individual (that is, the dependent) for that taxable year,” the regulations state.

    “Whether the taxpayer actually claims the individual as a dependent for the taxable year does not affect the taxpayer’s liability for the shared responsibility payment for the individual.”

    In other words, if a child goes without government-defined health insurance coverage for any month of the year, their parent must pay a fine to the government, regardless of whether they claim the child as a dependent or not.

    Infamous hoaxster Tawana Brawley — whose outrageous rape lie 25 years ago inflamed racial tensions nationwide — yesterday was finally slapped with a court order to settle a hefty defamation case against her.

    “For at least 25 years, she has been living a major lie,” said former Dutchess County prosecutor Steven Pagones, who was falsely accused of raping Brawley in 1987 and finally tracked her down, thanks to The Post.

    “To me, this has always been about responsibility and accountability,’’ added the former ADA, who won the $190,000 defamation lawsuit against Brawley, 40, now a nurse in Virginia, more than a decade ago.

    At 9 percent interest, that debt, which Brawley never attempted to pay off, now totals $431,492, according to the wage-garnishment papers filed in Virginia’s Surry County Court.

    Brawley — whose unbelievable lies made the Rev. Al Sharpton a household name as he bombastically championed her cause — had changed her name and moved down South in the years since she was exposed.
