    Does anyone else notice that while the demo is steady for TVD the total viewership has been slipping since its return?

    But happy to see BATB holding steady!!!!!

  • PhilipM

    It looks like POI could end up as CBS’s highest-rated 9:00 PM drama this season ahead of CM and NCIS: LA. It’s doing really well. Elementary, on the other hand, continues to draw rather unimpressive numbers.

  • Noel

    Ugh, I really want Elementary to rise more! It’s a really great show! It’s still doing good, but I want more!!! Hope the superbowl keeps the show safe.

    @Michael
    i agree but cw was looking for bigger ratings than TSC post TVD, not essentially the same, making a procedural that was easy to follow, and less hiatuses was suppose to help the it.
    lets see how the show does in the spring. since i think cult will be doa, and mondays already a diaster, right now it will survive

    Rob60990 (or whatever)

    Community may not be the highest rated or most watched but jokes on you, they’re still getting paid. Lol (#30RockFinale reference)

  • Claudia

    Good for BATB it held .7 same viewership but it will be better next and the valentines episode it will smash its numbers, right now #beasties are not that happy with the Alex thing…but still kept same numbers!!!!! :)

  • eridapo

    Folks… My “Go On” numbers are off by one episode because the Pilot aired on August 9, 2012… My list only includes Sept. forward (and some exceptions for Grimm)

  • Sarah

    Good 0.7? The only certainty is that the CW network continues to lose viewers have a negative result. Beauty and the Beast is a show mediocre.

  • charmedcraft

    I don’t think moving BATB to Fridays would be a good move; it’s ratings make it the fourth highest rated show right now for the network I believe. If anything they would move a lower rated show to Friday’s instead.

  • Ginger

    I think Scandal should stay behind Grey’s and then inherit their time slot when Scandal is going into season 4.

  • Karen

    I am so happy! TBBT beat Americal Idol. LOL Great news!

  • JulieDawn

    Wonderful that BATB kept the demo and lost very few viewers after adjustment.

    @Rob60990

    Really? Laughing at Scandal when your show (Flopange) keeps falling each week?

  • Richard Steven Hack

    Person of Interest was excellent last night, with the return (and demise?) of Annie Parisse, Reese’s old CIA partner. Frankly I hope she managed to escape the car blast, as I’d like to see her return, but the video camera indicates otherwise. Since she’s on The Following every week, we may not see her return on PoI.

    And with Finch’s name in the reveal, the plot isn’t over. As a computer security guy, I liked the references to Stuxnet and Flame inserted in the dialog.

    Beauty and the Beast actually was pretty good as well. The addition of Kelly Overton and the return of the conspiracy are precisely what the show needs to overcome the malaise it has suffered from its fixation on the romantic story and the boring police procedurals. If they focus on the conspiracy more from here on out, the ratings might stabilize and enable a second season.

    The Vampire Diaries was pretty good – one less Original. Unfortunately no Caroline in this episode – my favorite character. :-)

    I wouldn’t get too excited about Beauty & The Beast. Last night’s episode was terrible. Not so sure the audience will come back for more.

    Still, I think the show is worth keeping, provided some changes are made. My humble advice to its producers:

    1. Better “crimes of the week,” which aren’t so obvious to solve.
    –I mean, did anyone NOT realize that the CFO killed the wife?

    2. Build on this idea of Vincent helping society’s outcasts.

    3. Resolve the whole Mirfield threat, and then move on!!

    4. More believable characters and character reactions.
    –sorry, not buying that Alex couldn’t move on after 10 years.

    5. Time to introduce Vincent’s father and brothers (in flashback).

    6. More Tess!! She is a very under-rated character.

    Flopange? haha, what a mess.

    Scandal does not have the kind of competition Revenge has had. When it does, get back to me.

    :D

    “Beauty and the Beast actually was pretty good as well”

    I think I just fell off my chair, you said something postive about BATB. Actually I sort of disagree with you about the series needing to focus mostly on the conspiracy going forward (I firmly believe the love story is the core, and has a lot more going for it than you see in it), but I WILL agree that they shouldn’t forget about the whole conspiracy and Muirfield aspect of the the story going forward. Even if it disappears for a few episodes, I’d like to see it returning every now and then with different aspects – maybe there are more ‘Beasts’ out there or whatever (perhaps a story for if the show gets a 2nd season).

    I still don’t understand why Glee is below The Office in the table. It was in the prelims too. Am I missing something?

  • ChannelDante

    i think if POI hadn’t been on hiatus for two weeks the demo would’ve been higher. Because that last episode was intense!

  • Bitter Ringer Fan

    @Laura
    because Glee is not near as good as The Office!!!
