I’ve always HATED American idol. Who really wants to see all the embarressing people who think they can sing?? Don’t like most of CBS junk. All the same, no variety at all. Now Scandal, that’s a super charged show.

I don’t know why but I feel Beauty and the Beast will be Renewed. The CW will cancel Cult, the Carrie Diaries and Emily Owens M.D. !

  • Michael

I believe that the fate of American Idol is in the hands of its recent winners/contestants. The “Man or Muppet” video, which features Jim Parsons, has a better chance to win a Grammy than does anyone who has been on AI since 2006.

    It should be reversed

So basically Do No Harm tied the CW’s Arrow & SPN 0.9 from Wed & got beat by TVD last night. For those forecasting the demise of Cult before it even premieres don’t be so quick. I think it could be the next SPN/Grimm even if it has an incompatible lead in from HOD. Remember Fashion Star will be paired with Grimm on Fri starting in March. Safe to say no crossover potential there.

I know it has been asked many times already (but I’m lazy to read through all the comments of the other posts) but how could Scandal have risen so much (from barely 6 millions in November to grazing 8 millions now, not to mention the rating) in so little time?

  • Brian

Wow at the sad, pitiful numbers for Do No Harm. Does this mean that we see one face next week in the Renew/Cancel Index?

The CW may keep Beauty and the Beast. But they’re moving it out of Thursdays. Maybe Monday or Friday?

Is this the first time POI beat GG?

  • a p garcia

FOX should not have moved Glee to combat GG & POI.

  • BigBrotherFan

Glee needs to be canceled NOW.

  • GG

@carl seems like an idiot lol. Flopange is still getting renewed as it still got 6 million views against football.

    @a p garcia
No it’s not the first time POI beat Greys. And I agree: glee should not compete against the powehouses known as Greys and POI.

FOX needs to axe X-Factor and get Simon back on Idol after this season. Do they not see how much they’ve destroyed their entire schedule because of the dumb decision to produce both shows? X Factor is pulling in awful ratings and Idol is now getting beaten by The Voice. It’s pathetic. Save Idol while it’s still afloat.

‘More Tess!! She is a very under-rated character.”

You’re absolutely correct. She could play the Beast without even wearing makeup.

  • Kevin

Happy for Scandal and Person of Interest – great shows. Really happy Big Bang is beating horrible American Idol – finally something is crushing that nonsense

  • Roco

@rob, you are as worst as Max, your scandal hate is obvious, I wouldn’t be surprised if you and Max were the same person. Go get a life..

  • Amanda

Happy about Beauty and the Beast!

Not only is it holding it’s numbers up, but it’s doing awesome in itunes sales as well!

Right now the season pass for the series is doing better than all the other CW series outside from Vampire Diaries and Arrow.

I’m sure that would count for something to the CW, more so since the poor itunes sales was one of the factors that killed Ringer last season.

    @ Laura

These shows are listed according to their numbers in the 18-49 demo and not according to total viewers. The Office is listed above Glee because it received a higher demo number, it’s that simple. And before someone says that they tied, they most likely didn’t. The numbers we see are rounded, for the sake of clarification, assume that the Office got a 2.14 and Glee got a 2.06; which both round to 2.1 for the purposes of this chart and what they are allowed to divulge to the general public.

    @ Jamie04

No they shouldn’t. They are listed in order of who won for a reason. See above.

  • Shepherd

    or not. :)
