Another 0.7 for Beauty and the Beast, eh? If it keeps that up, it’ll probably get renewed (I did say “if”). And this, kiddies, is why we don’t call CW shows before late spring. The Bear is mighty busy at the CW during this season.

Scandal is truly one of the unexpected ratings success stories of the season. It’s astonishing that a network drama in this day and age has actually been able to build an audience. Well done, ABC.

POI is also doing very well after some slight bumps early on in the season. CBS has got to be cringing at how weak Elementary is, though. It’s the only show preventing CBS from winning the entire Thursday night lineup. It’s definitely going to be sent out to pasture on Sundays or Mondays next season. A bit of karma I’m sure Mentalist fans will enjoy.

Happy for 30 Rock to go out with at least a little bang.

how does glee put on number 4 while it had better numbers than the office???

I just watched ‘Do No Harm’, but the show is good, sometimes a little bit funny and the show has a lot of tension.
    So why didn’t people watch?

Is CBS really going to wast the post-Bowl slot for Elementary? It’s gonna flop

BatB is one of the dullest, most poorly acted shows I’ve seen in awhile. But then I watched Arrow and that show is god awful as well. CW shows are becoming more utter garbage than usual. With these two shows, I have to shake my head at people’s obsession with the “bad boy” in stories. Shows about ordinary, good people who experience conflict and drama that’s not all about violence and law breaking don’t seem to interest our cynical society, and that’s just wrong. So while I’m sure it’s nice to have a sliver of hope for BatB now that it’s held a mediocre rating, but better than much of CW’s crop of weak and terrible shows, I just shake my head at anyone who could call themselves fans and dedicate themselves to promoting these lackluster programs.

Yay, Person of Interest, best show on TV. Keep on going.

POI did very well after hiatus, but Elementary ratings are disappointing. WOW for Scandal, it has become number 1 ten pm show. I am curious if Revolution can beaf it when it comes back? Ouch for Do No Harm, it premiered worse than CW shows!

Big Bang Theory is so overrated. It should’nt get more than 3.0 rating for what it offers.

the premiere episode of batb was not good, i almost never watched again, but i’m glad i stuck with it…it is my favorite cw show now and one of my favorites on any network…happy to see it’s kept a 0.7…makes me a little optimistic of renewal…

  • s0303

@jenny…i think you are referring to hart of dixie…now that is the dullest show on tv…

Person of Interest continues to impress the heck out of me. What a show!

    yes, what a show!

Thank you so much Jonathan Nolan & Co. for giving us POI.

I don’t think I can remember any show getting this kind of retention of out Grey’s Anatomy! The best I can recall is Private Practice pulling a 5.7 out of Grey’s Anatomy‘s 5.9 in 2009 for a crossover episode.

Edit: When I wrote “of out”, I meant to write “out of”.

You don’t like a show, so people shouldn’t watch it?

@s0303 I think I know what I mean and what I think. Don’t put words in my mouth just so you can find a way to turn criticism of something you like into an opportunity to pimp it.

@Amanda – Ringer had a lot of iTunes sales last year given that they practically gave it away for free. I got it for about $10. When I checked on iTunes sales though, Beauty and the Beast was not on the list of top-selling TV hits of the year at all. The only CW shows on it were Arrow, Vampire Diaries, and Supernatural in that order. Add in the fact that these 3 shows cost $50 each and Beauty and the Beast has been slashed to $25 for the season, I don’t think iTunes are going to be a factor at all, if it ever is. However, if BatB can maintain a 0.7 demo through spring it will return for a second season.

For those interested, Arrow season 1 and Supernatural season 8 are the only two CW shows on the all-time bestsellers on iTunes also. Vampire Diaries is not on that list.
