Biggest Audience for 'NAACP Image Awards' in 4 years

*	From 8-10 p.m., "The 44th Annual NAACP Awards" (0.8/3 in 18-49,
3.0 million viewers overall) matched its year-ago rating in adults
18-49 and equaled its highest result since 2009.  From its first
half-hour to its fourth, "The NAACP Awards" grew by 29 percent in
18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.7) and 13 percent in total viewers
(3.345 million vs. 2.971 million)."The NAACP Image Awards," which hit a four-year high in
total viewers, is up versus last year in total viewers by 3 percent
(3.047 million vs. 2.945 million).

*	In total viewers, the 3.0 million is the biggest overall
audience for "The NAACP Awards" in four years, since 2009.  Versus
last year, the telecast was up 3 percent in total viewers (3.047
million vs. 2.945 million). 

*	From 9-11 p.m. ET, Dateline NBC" reported a 1.1/3 in 18-49 and
4.4 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second,
"Dateline" grew by 10 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a
1.0), 7 percent in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.5) and 7 percent in total
viewers (4.6 million vs. 4.3 million).

    Barryinnyc Be quiet and every other white person that has a issue with it. NAACP is a needed awards that ignores minority actor and actresses. Anything that has to do with AFRICAN AMERICAN is a problem for people GIVE ME A BREAK.

    @David – between the Golden Globes, Oscars, People Choice Awards, Emmys, etc., tell me when the minority actors and actresses are ignored? Are you saying these award shows are prejudice against the minorities? I DON’T THINK SO. The NAACP is just sticking it in our faces and causing MORE RACISM. Get over it already!
