Good morning everyone.
@Ratboy, Very clever use of dipstick there. Did you mean to do it? Seeing how we were talking about cars and you use a dipstick to check your oil.
I wonder it that’s an old farmers term. My grandfather used to say, “He’s as dumb as a dipstick.” Or when I was messing around instead of doing my chores he’d say, “You’re as useful as a dipstick and there are thousands all over the farm.”
D.D., Thanks for sharing that link about GE product. Those types of products are going to begin down health care cost not Obamacare.
Raz, USA is at school. So, we will have to wait before he can explain why drone strikes on Americans are good. I’m sure he can shoot down a drone. I’m sure he can build one too.
Ratboy, and you tell me I don’t get it. Joe is a conservative with liberal values. Powell is a republican that supports the democratic platform.

Good morning everyone.

Nah I aint that smart!!
I have always used (I guess it does come from my farm days) dipstick when I really want to say dipsh#* not that I would ever talk like that!!
My grandpa would say “you are just like the dipstick in the car…………a quart low!!”
As for Powell, that I beleive is VERY WELL calculated. The left is using him to try to sway the less informed right by having him say he is a R but speaking D. The less informed will follow the personality to the content. IMO
Raz wrote: “EXCLUSIVE: Justice Department memo reveals legal case for drone strikes on Americans…
Wonder if you can shoot one of those suckers down?”
They can be jammed. Someone will come up with a commercial drone frequency jammer. Ho physical harm done, call it drone malfunction.
However, if you broadcast a Barack Obama speech while a drone is in your area, the broadcast alone should be enough to confuse and down the drone.
Morning all
Time to catch up on the news that the dumbocrats refuse to read…

An inconvenient truth: More polar bears alive today than 40 years ago
Author Zac Unger was originally drawn to the arctic circle to write a “mournful elegy” about how global warming was decimating the polar bear populations. He was surprised to find that the polar bears were not in such dire straits after all.
“There are far more polar bears alive today than there were 40 years ago,” Unger told NPR in an interview about his new book, “Never Look a Polar Bear in The Eye.” “There are about 25,000 polar bears alive today worldwide. In 1973, there was a global hunting ban. So once hunting was dramatically reduced, the population exploded.”

But they are wearing tank tops and shorts and they are “packing heat”!!!
Nancy, Why they can’t win over the three ‘let me pull facts out of my rear end’ on that other station is a mystery to me.
Can you prove that they are pulling facts out of their behinds? Why do you have to attack people so much? A simple, Mika’s show is more informative and factual, would do. IMO MSNBC and CNN don’t get the numbers because they aren’t reporting on all of the stories. I can live with the media slanting to the left or the right. But I hate it when they don’t report stories. Spin how negative GDP is really good but at least report that there was negative GDP.
Why aren’t they reporting on Senator Menendez taking gifts from a friend and not reporting it until he was caught? (Forget about the other part of the story.) Put all of the stories out there no matter how it makes your party look and we will get viewers.
Police forensic scientist at Newtown hearing: ‘Assault weapons’ ban won’t work This is a link to a website on the World Wide Web.
Rat, I agree with you on Powell. He never really had strong republican believes. There had been talk in 2005 about the republicans running Powell for President. According to Powell he was asked and he decided not to run. However, according to GOP insiders, the General was not only never asked, he was never even being considered. In the eyes of many Powell’s only republican belief was the need for a strong military.
