    IMO, the U.S. stock market hasn’t made sense for a long time. I think it has to do with every day investors with 401ks and IRAs and how close many people in this country are to retirement age.
    Or maybe it’s because of all the USA8888s in this country that believe they know everything.
    It went down Monday because one group of people wanted to get out while it was high. It went up today because a different group of people think it’s going to get to 15. I bet it will go down tomorrow.

    Here are great words to remember. The famous rule from the 1929 stock market crash: When even shoeshine boys are giving you stock tips, it’s time to sell (Joseph P. Kennedy Sr?)

    @d.d.
    CBO: Obamacare will cost 7 million workers healthcare coverage…

    One of my sons was just notified today that as of January 2014 they will not be covered by the companies Health Insurance plan any longer, they will have to get one of their own.

    So what happened to the “You will be able to keep your plan” promise?

    @Cathy
    IMO, the U.S. stock market hasn’t made sense for a long time.

    I got out 100% a few months ago and will not reenter the market, all the trends and charts are leading to a meltdown based on years of charting it and the potential for a quick and un-expected crash is as high as I have ever seen it.

    It is way to unpredictable anymore for me.

    have a great evening folks, see you in the AM

    Coffee, Lindsey Vonn Airlifted to Hospital News is not good. She’s out for at least a year.

    Rats, Leave it to Conyers.

  • Dreaner

    Interesting.
    “The Federal Communication Commission is proposing a “Super Wi-Fi” network that could potentially give everyone free access to fast wireless Internet.”

    Sorry debunked.

    gas jumped to 3.59 a gallon tpday

    More on the drone memo.

    NBC “obtained” a document on the drone strike policy. This is how Nobama minimizes civilian loss of life. :roll:

    A May 2012 New York Times report said that the administration minimizes civilian casualties by counting “all military-age males in a strike zone as combatants.”

    Source.

    It also “justifies” why they can kill Americans.

  • Hillbilly

    Fox News number one cable news network in prime time & day time viewers. :)

  • Hillbilly

    Broadcast’s lowest show in the weekly top 25 CSI – 7223.

    Cable’s highest shown in the weekly top 25 WWE Entertainment – 5267.

    Using Steve Perry logic cable TV is dying. :eek:

  • Hillbilly

    The lowest show in the weekly top 25 for cable was The Big Bang Theory – 3222.

    No cable news show could top that. :???:

  • Hillbilly

    FNC wins day time & MSNBC wins the night time last weekend.

    Sunday night FNC & CNN didn’t scratch in the demo. :shock:

  • Hillbilly

    THE FIVE NUMBER ONE AGAIN. :grin:

    HIllbilly–I agree with the strike zone bieng “all military-age males in a strike zone as combatants.” This is correct. If they are living with Al Qaeda, they soon will be Al Qaeda….the more quickly they are exteminated, the better!!!!!!

  • usa8888

    Fox takes another dive in Monday’s ratings….

  • Michael

    @Ratboy,

    I thought this was a site for talking about ratings. Are Fox News’s ratings sinking so fast that it now also needs to use it do distribute its stories? Why not just put them on their over 200 network affiliates? Is it because their affiliates can get higher numbers by airing shows like “TMZ” and “Inside Edition”?
