Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

What about the 2nd Bones?
Did I miss the Live+7 DVR Ratings for week 16? I don’t remember seeing it :/
@ZMax, yep.

@Sarah, my guess is we didn’t see it from our regular source because it was marked “special”.
@Bill or Robert
Do you have the numbers for the second Bones that aired that week?
@Robert
Oh, okay. Thanks.
I expected much bigger numbers for Once Upon a Time and Revenge…
ahhh..HoD…I like what I see…
No Go On or New Normal. Not only is nobody watching them, nobody is DVRing them either.
Whenever people say that X day at 10PM is the toughest, I always look at Monday and the DVR results for those shows.
Castle and H50 are always near the top of these lists, and when Revolution was airing all 3 shows consistently gained over 3+ million viewers and a 1+ in the demo. In fact all of them almost always placed in the top 10 for the most dvr shows for the week…
I agree with Raykov. Those are still good numbers, but I thought they’d be much higher considering the circumstances
@Oliver “No Go On or New Normal. Not only is nobody watching them, nobody is DVRing them either”
Do you know this is Top 25, right? Every week Go On and TNN have DVR numbers, they’re just not published here. Some times they are, when they make the Top 25. But that doesn’t mean anything at all.
The CW lies that Mondays are their most DVR’ed night but last season, we rarely saw Gossip Girl or 90210 growing by 0.5/0.6 in 7 days. But I guess PR-wise it makes sense to tout their % growth since 100% sounds amazing even if it only amounts to a 0.3 rating.
Not amazing for Revenge, I was hoping that it would stay in the 3s, but it is nice to see the Post Airdate Increase is pretty solid.
It got a 1.1 increase for weeks 15 & 16 and a 1.0 increase for week 17.
Hopefully we’ll see a substantial improvement in the Live numbers next Sunday.
Good numbers for Criminal Minds, their highest in viewers for this season but not in the 18-49.
Thrilled that ‘Castle’ did so well in the DVR viewing. Now if only they could do better during their live broadcast, that would be the icing on the cake. Gosh I love this series.
Great for Scandal!!! Soon it’ll be over a 4.0 with DVR numbers
Ouch for OUAT. I guess a lot of people really have just given up in te show. Same for Revenge, but Revenge hasn’t been very good at all this season.
@Barr
I wasn’t being literal when I wrote “no-one”.
No Happy Endings on the list.
Ram510 ouch for OUAT for the 18-49 demo they were 5th with an increase of 54% And Recenge was 3 rd with an increase of 59% whuch makes them the 3rd highes. How is that bad?
