So Hannity has 708 9n the 35 -64 demo and Dr Maddow has 291 in the key demo and OReilly has 1,228 in the 35 – 64 and Schultz has 192 in the key demo and Greta has 519 in the 35 – 64 and Larry O has 190 in the key demo. So I am an advertiser, do I want to peddle my product to 2.4 million potential news watching buyers or to 600 thousand news watching buyers?
I will take the huge older group with a higher buying power any day of the week!
This is what is called a Mark2 apples to apples comparison with the only difference is that I am using shows that are ACTUALLY the same kind of show.
Boooo Ya!
I guess the Republicans are finally coming to their senses.
“Eric Cantor: Dreamers Should Receive Pathway To Citizenship”
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said on Tuesday that he believes undocumented young people who entered the United States as children should be given legal residence and, eventually, citizenship, in what marks a reversal for the congressman who voted against the Dream Act less than three years ago.
Bye-Bye Wingnuts and Tea/baggers…it looks like the Party is moving back towards the center and to the normal Right.
@Ratboy “I will take the huge older group”
And you would be fired…lol.

Kudlow on CMNB is a joke. A test pattern would do better. Why do these guys stick with this clown?

Reality Check…
Evening News numbers:
NBC News w/Brian Williams = 9,340,000
ABC News w/Diane Sawyer = 8,668,000
CBS News w/Scott Pelley = 6,990,000
If you add PBS , MSNBC we have all the liberals, Dems. Yes you win.
@ And you would be fired…lol.
NOPE!! NOT TRUE!!
FOX gets higher advertising dollar than MSNBC by a big margin and what does that mean?…………….wait for it………………..that advertisers will take the older group ALL DAY LONG!!!!
THAT’S GOTTA HURT!
Maddow beats HanNutty again. Go girl!
Jodi Arias is no Casey Anthony.. Jodi Arias on the stand yesterday only booasted HLN by a little.. casey’s trial had HLN pulling unbelieveable numbers…

I do not understand. My girl friend love this.
@Bobbyv
Bill O’Reilly does present both sides. His guests are generally thoughtful. And, he doesn’t bring on too many bomb-throwers. (I cannot stand Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter…a shrill pair…and, too extreme).
I flip to O’Reilly during commercial breaks of “Erin Burnett: Outfront,” to catch a segment here and there. (I live on the West Coast…both of them come on at 8pm).
@Kendall–excellent critique of the networks and the hosts, enjoyed reading them.
Kendall,
Does MSNBC have programs like Bret Baier & Chris Walllace ?

In addition to the loss of health insurance for 7 million people the CBO reports: Employers Will Pay Staggering $130 Billion In Obamacare Penalties By 2022…
Plus………..
ObamaCare Exchange Subsidy Cost Hiked By $233 Billion
The Congressional Budget Office on Tuesday quietly raised the 10-year cost of ObamaCare´s insurance subsidies offered via the health law´s exchanges by $233 billion, according to a Congressional Budget Office review of its latest spending forecast. The CBO´s new baseline estimate shows that ObamaCare subsidies offered through the insurance exchanges — which are supposed to be up and running by next January — will total more than $1 trillion through 2022, up from $814 billion over those same years in its budget forecast made a year ago. That´s an increase of nearly 29%.
@Doug Z, …yeah the trial is quite interesting,.. This girl is bat S#it crazy for what she’s done. HLN been hyping this trial for 2 years and it’s getting so so numbers.. Still, i’m sure it’s a win since it’s pulling double numbers at 5pm and 6pm slot…
@Kendall–You have it right MSNBC attacks FOX more than the other way around;a little bit of professional jealousy.
@Kendall–I used to watch Morning Joe,but the Democratic hacks on the show got to me–unfortunately I’m never been crazy about Fox and Friends, they need a better format than 3 folks on a sofa…but then again they crush the competition.
@You have it right MSNBC attacks FOX more than the other way around;a little bit of professional jealousy.
Fox News provides a lot more material for criticism. This has been known by a growing majority. You would not know because of your admitted source of misinformation.
@Ratboy
Obiously, you have no clue as to the purchasing power of each demo and why companies value the 18-49 demo much higher than any other demo.
Read this:
“In general, the number of viewers within the 18–49 age range is more important than the total number of viewers. According to Advertising Age, during the 2007–08 season, Grey’s Anatomy was able to charge $419,000 per commercial, compared to only $248,000 for a commercial during CSI, despite CSI having almost five million more viewers on average. Due to its strength in young demos, Friends was able to charge almost 3 times as much for a commercial as Murder, She Wrote, even though the two series had similar total viewer numbers during the seasons they were on the air together. Glee and The Office drew fewer total viewers than NCIS during the 2009–10 season, but earned an average of $272,694 and $213,617 per commercial respectively, compared to $150,708 for NCIS.”
Got it? Good!
The righty gets super cranky when they loose in the key demo for multiple programs.
Maybe if they took some of the medicine they sell during the Fox News commercials they would be more regular….etc.
Jeff,
That is very debatable – how much MSM air time did the recent tape doctoring get? You think NBC is going to criticize MSNBC? Everything Fox does is under a microscope. Who holds MSNBC accountable except for Fox?
