Go Carrie, Go Carrie, so glad, love this show, and as much as I love 90210 and would actually like to see another season (that twist with Riley I didn’t see coming), its ratings don’t warrant it, only thing that gets it another season is dvd sales and overseas sales, nothing else at this stage.

So next season could very well be:

    The Carrie Diaries

    Hart Of Dixie

    The Vampire Diaries
NEW SHOW (THE ORIGINALS – unless backdoor-pilot sucks)

    NEW SHOW/Beauty And The Beast

they maybe might do 90210 half season 10 episodes or whatever like they did for Gossip Girl and premiere new show midseason instead, but from a ratings standpoint it is not deserved.

Also could see either in fall (if 90210 is cancelled) or midseason (if its renewed) The Carrie Diaries pairs with Hart Of Dixie.

So they could actually premiere 3 new shows in fall without really cancelling any more (Cult not included cos I think it will fail although it could surprise.)

All four of the Big 4 networks managed a 2.0+ from 8-10.

  • Petar Ivanov

cw show rules again. I mean in comments of course.

  • John A

TCD did ok i guess. 90210 needs to go but out of loyalty to when it rated well CW will renew it for 10 eps. Just dump it to friday with loser Nikita next season.

I wonder why 90210 never reached the “media attention” the way Gossip Girl did. While, GG had abysmal ratings, 90210 wasn’t able to meet that criteria or have the same appeal. I thought Annalynne Mccord and Shenae Grimes were going to reach Blake Lively and Leighton Meester “IT” girl status. 90210 never won any public awards either.

Monday in april and may will be bloodbath with the voice and nba play-offs.

Yay Bones! #2 and only down .2 from last week. :)

  • Monq

2 Broke Girls is really strong no matter what the naysayers say! Go for broke!!!

  • Elle

It’s great to see these numbers for “Bones”. Obviously not as great as in previous seasons, but still wonderful to see in its eighth season.

  • Monq

Although, I’m disappointed because 2BG could still use another year behind HIMYM.

  • Craig

I don’t get the 90210 “this show deserves a proper ending” talk.

They have at least 7 episodes left to break. That’s more than enough time to put together a proper ending.

At least shows like One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl, which did have formal final seasons, had a spot in pop culture history. Will anyone remember The CW’s 90210 in 20 years, aside from how bad it is and surprise that it lasted 5 years? Doubtful.

  • Amy

@ Michael GG had a more likeable cast and the chemistry between them was good.

  • lakersupbyten

Five 0 solid for another great season 4!!! :)

  • Jane

Surprised by TCD. Its viewers will be happy. We’ll see what happens next week. But good on it for increasing with stiffer competition.

  • Todd

H50 looks good especially considering it’s the only 10PM CBS drama without a compatible lead-in and the lack of promomotion compared to their other shows, when looking at all the 10PM CBS shows across the board.

  • Jared

I’ve been a fan of the CWs 90210 since the beginning but even I don’t think it needs a final season. There’s absolutely nothing major going on this season that warrants “wrapping up”. Use the next 10 or so episodes to have a satisfying ending and call it a day. 5 seasons was a great run.

  • Wright

Wow TCD didn’t drop that’s crazy.Happy Bones adjusted up.

  • Carl

@Michael, I think it’s because 90210 started out as being partially about nostalgia, a reboot. They also didn’t have the buzz factor Josh Schwartz had with the OC and again with Gossip Girl (never a big fan of his shows but he seemed to be able to create buzz). And they were based on popular books, while 90210 was based on a show that many may not have wanted or needed a remake for.

They probably should have just never had direct ties to the original 90210 at all.

Deception is getting killed. I bet NBC can’t wait for The Voice and Revolution to come back. Mondays have been a disaster with them.

  • Ashley

I’m just hoping The Following will maintain or go back up towards 3.3. It’s the best new show any network has had in years. There hasn’t been a show as gripping and suspenseful since 24.
