  • THE OLD MAN

    CBS took every half hour!

    Deception is pathetic.

  • Tommy

Way to go “The Carrie Diaries”! It keeps getting better and better with each episode and I’m glad to see it actually growing! I really hope that the CW gives it a second chance!

  • Laura

    GO BONES!
    I’m so proud of it!

  • Pavelsauce

Deception was adjusted down. Now it’s really dead.

  • Austin

GO TCD, let’s pull a number like that again next week or even I say a 0.8 please????

  • J-Crew

I don’t think Carrie Diaries is actually doing that well, it seems like all of the 8pm CW shows are outdoing the 9pm shows because the 8pm shows have the affiliate lead-ins. I think the real numbers the network is getting is after 8:30pm and there’s usually a big drop for each show except Nikita in that hour.

  • Mark3

Baad timeslot for 90210. Great show. IT WILL GET A SIXTH FINAL SEASON. MARK MY WORDS

  • J-Crew

    @ Mark3

Exactly the show got a sixth season whether it be the final one or not its got a sixth season already wrapped up, GG was getting these same low ratings and still survived for a final season. Like I said before the timeslot is bad for 90210, 90210 was doing much better at 8pm. You put Carrie in that same timeslot it would be doing the same numbers or worse.

  • Liam

Considering Castle did well. It will rise next week and for the two-parter also (there seemsto be a lot of hype over this two-parter so hopefully ratings will rise).

And ABC has ordered an extra episode bringing season 5 to 24 episodes in total. I take this as a sign season 6 might be in the cards.

Where are all the Nikita crazy fanboys who were insistent The Carrie Diaries would adjust down? No fan of the show but anything to stick it to that loser show’s fanbase makes me very happy. :D

How soon before Deception falls below a 1?

“And ABC has ordered an extra episode bringing season 5 to 24 episodes in total. I take this as a sign season 6 might be in the cards.”

The extra episode is irrelevant, another season is virtually certain unless the cast or producer decides to call it quits.

Since The Carrie Diaries held onto that 0.7 rating, if Hart Of Dixie scores another 0.5 rating tonight, the Fan Excuse Bingo in tomorrow’s comments will be EPIC!

  • Terrance

Rob you’re a loser all you do is post negative things and attack other posters. You’re posts are really irrelevant. Speak in fact instead of BS.

  • Ethan

Farewell deception…I love the following, I think it’s the kind of show that would do better both ratings wise and quality in short, cable-type season of 10-13 eps…hope fox goes with this model instead of trying to stretch it out into a full 22 and killing it with filler

  • Charmed

For the first time this season I’m starting to doubt whether Hart Of Dixie will be renewed. But again it’s ratings are more stable and predictable than TCDs which seem to be all over the place so far.

  • Nick

OK now CBS & NBC ratings make more sense.

Oh, and can Hawaii Five-0 fans stop ranting about how Mike & Molly is a bad leadin? It’s the best leadin for any 10 pm show on the network. There’s no excuse for ~70% retention, people. Elementary gets ~80% CSI gets ~85%, Blue Bloods gets ~90%, and The Mentalist gets over 100% on non-football days. Vegas is the only 10 pm show that has lower retention. Retention doesn’t matter in the end, but stop complaining.

  • Ethan

@rob, screw you NIKITA is 100 times the show that the crappy diaries is…and I don’t think one show has much to do with the other…EO and GG are both gone, and if they want to clear another spots think 90210 or HoD would get cancelled before either of these 2 shows at their current ratings…now if cult becomes a hit, which I doubt, then I could imagine a real rivalry between fans of Nikita TCD and BaTB

  • J-Crew

Don’t put that much stock into The CW’s ratings, the execs don’t care that much about the ratings the numbers you should be concerned with are the international numbers. When those come out in late February that’ll let you know what’s coming back not these domestic ratings.

And the Fan Excuse Bingo begins again…

  • Leah

Mike and Molly have a totally different audience than Hawaii Five-0 and I guess since we can all voice our opinions, mine is that it is a terrible lead in. For the 10:00 hour Blue Bloods comes on after CSI New York (procedural) Elementary comes on after Person of Interest (procedural) so that doesn’t fly.
