Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

TCD will adjust down, HOD is safe. And TCD is nowhere near as good as HOD or BATB.

  • CrimTV

    @senor chang

If they move 2BG behind TBBT it could be a risk worth taking

  • ateofi

HFo did okay but I would like to see higher numbers with such weak competition – and Ouch at Castle. Deception is dead.
I second that. I expected the numbers for H50 would be better without Revolution. I never thought the ratings would be like in season 2, but at least 2.5 in demo would make me very happy. I guess too many viewers came from TAHM and now they watch POI and Elementary on Thursdays. Also, when rerun cycle starts, H50 ratings will dip for sure.

  • Petar Ivanov

@Hmmm, well I guess the honeymoon is done. The following will keep falling and die.

NOPE. Will survive. May be around 2.5 till the voice premiere and than around 1.5-1.8 and wull be renew. WIll get friday fringe/touch spot on fox next season.

  • CrimTV

What we have to think about is out of TCD, B&TB and HOD, which is closer to syndication

Hart of Dixie – 2 seasons to go / 44 episodes
    Beauty & the Beast – 3 seasons to go / 66 episodes
The Carrie Diaries – 4 seasons to go / 75 episodes

  • Leah

I don’t read fan sites but reading on here someone says backlash next week after Danno ranting on gun control on #H50, get real they showed both sides of the argument. #H50 Hookman episode great, even with last first run episode on 1/21 with 2 little 30 sec. promo’s during Super Bowl, 2 Broke Girls and Mike and Molly both down and they had several Super Bowl promo’s. All in all I think CBS had a good night. Like always agree to disagree but put your own spin on it :)

  • Alex

When will CBS realize that Rules should be more than a mid-season replacement?
Maybe they are using the McRib strategy of only giving us a little every year.

  • a p garcia

Finally Here: ROE was a welcomed sight last night and it was funny and the numbers were well deserved.

  • Michael

Kevin Williamson knows how to make hit shows!

They should really announce this season of 90210 as its last. There’s no more creative stories to tell and unfold. They already hit the syndication mark, leave with some dignity still intact.

  • BigFlop

Bones – awful numbers, down again :D
H50 – the worst show from CBS, its numbers are horrible for that network :D
The Following – wow big flop
Castle – lost millions of viewers. Demos could be worse. Bubble time ?

  • Ricky

The carrie diaries high ratings good

To be honest with you I think that would be a smart move to move 2 Broke Girls behind Big Bang. I always thought they would be a great match. I would move Mike and Molly up to 9pm and put Two and Half Men on at 8:30. Launch a new show after Mike and Molly. I think Mike and Molly strong enough to anchor the hour.

Also CW has to be happy with the Carrie Diaries. I think this is a growing show. CW should annouce next season 13 episode 6th final season and please bring back Jennie Garth, Shannen or any of the old originals. The problem with 90210 CW it just never had the same spark the original series had. I was a huge fan of the old 90210. I was 10 when it premiered so this show just never really got me the same way old 90210.

  • Petar Ivanov

@Why people upset for 2 Broke Girls? 3.6 is fine for that Rubbish.

What are you talking about…….2BG is best CBS sitcom. Its really funny and entertaining. Peple love it. Its second best CBS show after TBBT.

  • Honey Badger

” Smash ” is back tonight on NBC. What will its ratings be ?
    my guess is a 2.1 18-49 rating.
Is a special 2 hour show a good idea? why not 1 hour?

” Smash ” is back tonight on NBC. It has been off the air since last year, they put in new writers; show runners, new cast members added, some cast members left. Last year the show bombed with dropping ratings

A all new Smash 2 hour Smash is back tonight on NBC from 9pm to 11 pm

It is going against for the first hour
a new NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS.
a new The Bachelor on ABC
a new New Girl and a new The Mindy Project on Fox
    a new Emily Owens, M.D.

It is going against for the second hour
    a new Vegas on CBS.
a new The Bachelor on ABC

  • Rebecca

I’m another female who watched TCD….well, just the first couple episodes. It hasn’t really hooked me so I gave up. I was a SATC fan – sometimes while watching the young Carrie I wonder why she never spoke much about her dad and sister when she was older, and TCD makes me long to see how her other friends were as teens – Charlotte and Samantha especially. But they’re not on the show, so it doesn’t hold much appeal for me now. I gave it a shot though.

  • HalCapone

I can hear the cries from NBC: “Bring back football and The Voice—we’re dying!” The Deception numbers are what Revolution would be doing without The Voice.

  • Rebecca

Looking forward to Smash and all the Fox comedies tonight.

  • Sarah

    Why is Bones listed 4th?

  • senor chang

Depends on whether 2BG is going to Thursday or TBBT is going to Monday, really (though given how well it’s done on Thursday I feel like that wouldn’t happen). Maybe CBS will just flip 2BG and TAAHM?

  • Alfred

“The Following” is a terribly written, silly show. When the Voice returns it will demolish it to the low 2’s/high 1’s.
