Rachel and Lawrence are on Fire!!!
It’s time to fire Hannity and Greta. That can’t even beat Maddow and O’Donnell in the key demo for Cable News…lol.
It’s official by the numbers for Fox in the past months: Fox’s ratings are dropping and they continue to hold a disproportioate amount of old viewers compared with MSNBC and CNN.
Fox just fired Dick Morris today and palin last week. Obviously, Fox’s ratings demise has caught the attetnion of Rupert…..
FOX NEWS WINS in total audience but “Hannity” loses to “Maddow” only by 7,000 25-54 viewers. “O’Donnell” loses total audience by 342,000 viewers, but narrowly beats “Greta” by 45,000 in the 25-54. FOX kills MSNBC across the board except for having narrowly edged MSNBC in just two time slots.
MessNBC fans: OUCH! That’s gotta sting like a bee!!!
* Correction: FOX kills MSNBC across the board except for MSNBC narrowily edging FOX in two time slots. *
I guess if you can’t compete in TODAY’S ratings market, you go back to the past victories to find SOMETHING to brag about. Apples and oranges, you whiners. Yesterday’s gone, today FOX is still Number One. Wise=up.
Yeah, they fired Sarah Palin and now Dick Morris…Hannity might be next, lol.
From Jindal’s “Stupid Party” remark about the GOP, to Eric Cantor now being for the Dream Act, and Rubio talking about Tupac & Biggie, what else is next?
It looks like the GOP’s attempting to come out of that wingnut bubble they’ve been living in for the last 6 years.
@Raplh
In case you didn’t know, the 25-54 demo is the most important for Cable News. This was even confirmed by Bill last night. Winning the key demo is more important than total viewers.
…again with these rookies who just never learn.
How OLD are Greta’s viewers? She lost to Lawrence O’Donnell in both the “demo” AND 35-64, but beats him in total viewers! BTW, Rachel had Frank Rich on as the interview subject, and he has a new column in New York Magazine (not to be confoozed with the New Yorker Magazine).
@Laurence “How OLD are Greta’s viewers?”
Very Old…mostly Senior Citizens.
No one was Fired. Contracts were not renewed. I some cases I can see why. Looks like Hannity/Maddow and O’Donnell/Great have a bit of a tug-a-war in the Key Demo. Every so many days it shifts back and fourth.
This just in: The NRA’s Stone La Pierre said 10 years or so ago that he favored background checks for all gun sales. Now he says he doesn’t. Has the Stone been taking lessons from Robme on talking out of both sides of his mouth, albeit at different points in time???? Or has the Stone just gotten greedier for blood money???
Tama–when Fox doesn’t renew a regular Fox contributor (Morris), he’s FIRED!!!
Ralph–call Rupert and see if he takes your position….
Early Start/Starting Point really took a dive. When does Cuomo start?
Eric Cantor did his 4th re-branding of the GOP yesterday after consulting with W. C. Fields……
@Tama “No one was Fired. Contracts were not renewed.”
In the TV world, that’s what’s called being fired.
In the Political world, they also use the term ‘handing in your letter of resignation’ instead of ‘fired’.
Maddow did beat Hannity by a couple of thousand in 25-54.
You talk she is clocking him. It’s about even.
As for Ed, Tingles, Sharpie, Morning Joe and even Larry O. is nothing to right home about.
What are saying their are a 800,000 to 1 mil. committed libs. to this network. Peanuts, we on the right just don’t care. We know how corrupt the media is. Watching Hannity doesn’t help defeat the media.
boy I see the lake is full of them tonight!!! I think I will just watch from the shore!
@Mark2: “Rookies.” ROFLMBO. Did I say anything in my posts that knocked the 25-54 demo? Read it again if you have a short attention span?
“Fire Hannity” THAT’S EVEN FUNNIER! Fire the #2 biggest moneymaker on the Fox payroll. Fox has too many analysts both Republican AND Democrat. I hope Rove is next.
The juvenile comments about the ratings are really disappointing.
Fox is number 1. MSNBC wins one demo for two shows but gets blown out for the rest of the day. The failure to renew the contracts of pundits is of little importance regardless which network you’re talking about. Changing hosts would matter and no one except for CNN is doing that.
