@Ratboy
Sorry if this has already been posted but this one has big implications
If things keep going the way they are we could face a whole new type of civil war in this country! I(f the states really start buckiong the federal system we are going to see one big mess!
With the power grab in Washington, can you imagine what might happen if states really di start pulling away or just taking full control of the land within their borders? The division has to stop but Obama is just making the gap wider and that is not a partison statement that is a plain fact! Now the drone issue is dividing the left! Bob Beckel actually said that Obamas drone program is unconstitutional!!! (of course then he said that nothing should happen to Obama for breaking the constitution but hey)
Ugly stuff my friend!

Effective Unemployment Rate at 16.2% for 18-29 year olds
by College Fix Staff on February 1, 2013
The youth unemployment rate for 18-29 year old African-Americans for January 2013 was 22.1 percent (NSA); the youth unemployment rate for 18-29 year old Hispanics for January 2013 was 13.0 percent (NSA); and the youth unemployment rate for 18–29 year old women for January 2013 was 11.6 percent (NSA).
The declining labor participation rate has created an additional 1.7 million young adults that are not counted as “unemployed” by the U.S. Department of Labor because they are not in the labor force, meaning that those young people have given up looking for work due to the lack of jobs.
If the labor force participation rate were factored into the 18-29 youth unemployment calculation, the actual 18-29-unemployment rate would rise to 16.2 percent (NSA).

Just keep this in mind
Obamacare Double Counting With Medicare Funds
15 percent of Medicare providers will be unprofitable by 2019. 25 percent of Medicare providers will be unprofitable by 2030. And the Medicare actuary concludes – this is his quote – in practice Medicare providers could not sustain continued negative margins and, absent legislative changes, would have to withdraw – withdraw – from providing services to Medicare beneficiaries, merge with other provider groups or shift substantial portions of the Medicare costs it to their non-Medicare non-Medicaid providers

Don’t forget the latest news reported:
Costs of Obamacare Exchanges Spike 29%… Before the Program Even Starts!
Last year, the CBO said the average exchange subsidy for those getting federal help when ObamaCare goes into effect next year would be $4,780. Its latest estimate raised that to $5,510 — a 15% increase. ( First report was yearly subsidy average at $3,970).
The CBO also expects 7 million workers will lose their employer coverage due to ObamaCare, almost twice as many as it had previously said
The tax penalties on individuals and companies who don’t buy insurance to be $36 billion higher from 2014 to 2019 than it originally forecast…
And a report out this week by the American Action Forum concluded that ObamaCare could nearly triple the cost of a relatively bare-bones insurance policy for younger workers.
Up to 500,000 children will be dropped from their current health insurance plans because of a “glitch” in Obamacare itself.
Don’t forget this either. The estimates that compliance with ObamaCare regulations will consume 127,602,371 hours per year. That’s enough man-hours to build 1,040 Mount Rushmores, or 18 Empire State Buildings
………….. or the jobs lost, or those workers forced to go part time.
Was it too much to expect for Democrats to read the da#n bill before unilaterally passing it ?
this is starting to smell a little more each day!
Sen. Menendez contacted top officials in friend’s Medicare dispute
Sen. Robert Menendez raised concerns with top federal health-care officials twice in recent years about their finding that a Florida eye doctor — a close friend and major campaign donor — had overbilled the government by $8.9 million for care at his clinic, Menendez aides said Wednesday.
Menendez (D-N.J.) initially contacted federal officials in 2009 about the government’s audit of Salomon Melgen, complaining to the director overseeing Medicare payments that it was unfair to penalize the doctor because the billing rules were ambiguous, the aides said.
Last year, in a meeting with the acting administrator of the agency in charge of Medicare and Medicaid, Menendez again questioned whether federal auditors had been fair in their assessment of Melgen’s billing for eye injections to treat macular degeneration, the senator’s aides said.
Reading the comments I think it best if I stay away from that video
@d.d.
Was it too much to expect for Democrats to read the da#n bill before unilaterally passing it ?
99% of them including the GOP STILL hasn’t read it. A great number of businesses have already notifiedf their workers they will no longer carry company health insurance next year. Before its all said and done, more will be uninsured than ever before.
@ d.d.
Was it too much to expect for Democrats to read the da#n bill before unilaterally passing it
Remember, Pelosi said pass it now and read it later!!!! The worst part, that is exactly what they did!!!
PS no bulds here, no grass here, no sidewalks here, no hppy people here!!

Boy’s effort to save world thwarted; principal’s story allegedly keeps changing
A he said-she said drama worthy of a really, really bad television crime procedural has developed at an elementary school in Loveland, Colorado over an imaginary grenade hurled by a second grader at a box full of make-believe bad guys.
Seven-year-old Alex Evans said he was merely trying to save the planet from evil last Friday afternoon, reports KDVR. That’s why he lobbed the pretend grenade — probably heroically far — on the playground during recess at Mary Blair Elementary School

I wanted to add my earlier post before prefacing the latest in the UK’s single payer system….. which Dr. Charles Krauthammer will be how Obamacare ends up.
Health service, pride of Britain, ravaged by hospital scandal
Reuters
The deaths of hundreds of hospital patients, left without food or water in filthy conditions, exposed an urgent need to change the culture of Britain’s National Health Service (NHS), a report said on Wednesday(Feb 6, 2013)
There were patients so desperate for water that they were drinking from dirty flower vases,” Prime Minister David Cameron told parliament in a statement on the report.
“Elderly and vulnerable patients were left unwashed, unfed and without fluids. They were deprived of dignity and respect. Some patients had to relieve themselves in their beds when they were offered no help to get to the bathroom,” said Francis.
He said some patients were left in excrement-stained sheets and some who could not eat or drink without help did not receive it. Medicines were prescribed but not given.
There is ALWAYS articles like this in the UK’s Telegraph & Guardian.
Mid Staffs NHS inquiry details ‘failure at every level of NHS’ (Telegraph)
Leader: Despite seven years of record investment – the longest and most sustained growth in NHS history – the health service is heading to a record overspend at the end of this month. What went wrong? (Guardian)
Coffee Steve wrote: “…Before its all said and done, more will be uninsured than ever before.”
Isn’t there where the government jumps in and takes all the multitude of uninsured under some kind of government-run insurance? Isn’t that Obama’s ultimate goal? If so, it’s working.
