Hey D.D.—-under the right wing GOP, ALL auto plants in the US would have been closed
I can’t converse with a featherweight.
If G.M. & Chrysler had gone bankrupt undertraditional chapter 11, most of their factories would have stayed open and they would have continued making and selling cars. Bankruptcy would have allowed the companies to avoid interest and dividend payments for a time, and to renegotiate union contracts. Under bankruptcy laws, stockholders would have lost the value of their stocks, but bond owners–who have first claim to company assets and profits – would have been paid off, if not in whole than at least in part.
This was union perk. The bond market was stiffed as well as salaried employees & US taxpayers are still owed 25B which experts say we will never recoup.
usa4 8′s no more posts tfrom me to you until you quit posting nonsense.
for you boo boo bear

D.D.–That’s the reason you LOST the election: your arguments are both specious and fallacious! As you should know, traditional bankruptcy was impossible for the auto industry during the financial crisis–there was NO private money available and the the entire auto industry would have gone under. Your fallacious argument is the same used by Robme–it didn’t make sense then and still doesn’t make sense!!! Furthermore, the union employees took significant pay cuts and reductions in pension benefits under the reorganization…..
Fox News Alert!!! Fox, the GOP propaganda arm, is running another duplicitous headline on their website. This time they says Obamacare is costing more at the supermarket…by requiring supermarkets to nutrition label salad bar and buffets so customers know what they are eating. The restaurant industry has already done this and likes it. The cost of such a procedure, is MINIMAL, despite Fox’s false assertions to the contrary….

You are a complete and utter IDIOT who does not have a clue!!!
Rat–Thanks very much to you, ibsles, and D.D. for helping us re-elect Obama. We are really thankfully for people like you and hope the right wing GOP doesn’t change, though I suspect the moderate GOP will breadk off, splitting the GOP into two factions….
One would think that the erronneous right wing philosophy would have been abandoned by now, given the GOP strategists saying that it is nuts and must change. But, it hasn’t changed–thanks to people like you. Thank you…
Chris Rock on gun control: Americans should do what Obama — ‘your dad’ — wants [VIDEO]
Your Dad….oh I get it…Poppa Doc. So does he get dressed up in the black suit and top hat and be the Baron Greddes? Get ready boys and girls for the ton ton macoot to show up at your door to get your pop guns.
USA8888, careful there comrade. You never know who will be the next Trotksy. Hope you got your tickets to Mexico.
Oops, that’s Trotsky.
Why did The Stone La Pierre favor gun background checks 10 years ago, and now does not….
Comrade Raz says watch out for communists….I agree…..
@USA8888 Oh yes healthcare cost going up, more people lossing thier insurance plans(7 Million more CBO), It will now cost 1.7 trillion up for the orginal 900 billion we were told. IRS say the cheapest policy will be $20,000 for a family (So more people with out insurance its cheaper to pay the tax than buy insurance). I sure they will have the exchanges up by 1 Jan 2014 and run like a swiss clock LOL. Sure to be alot of mad people in 2014 just in time for the mid terms. Yes the FDA is thinking about making the supermarkets do what restuarants have to do now list calories, trans fat etc on fresh/already cooked food sold in supermarkets. I am sure its not going to cost supermarkets more $$$ to folow that rule and if does I sure the wont raise prices LOL.
The delusional mind of the righty cannot accept the facts regarding ACA, or GM Chrysler bailout. Only what Fox News and Phat Phuck Limbaugh and Beck tells them. Their response is name calling or aggressive comments with no substance. These same “idiots” were posting daily any bad news about GM “The Chevy Volt” or Chrysler they could “troll” the Internet to find. These same “idiots” loved high gas prices, loved bad jobs numbers, loved increased unemployment, loved people getting throw off medical coverage. Opposed wage increases and the right to collectively bargain. I can’t think of anything more un-american or un-Christian than their daily rants against anything President Obama does.
@ Mikey O
You didnt expect Zero x 4 to get all that at once did you???

Which one of the left wing wackos should the Dems put up in 16? Bernie Sanders might be a good fit!
Obamanomics is collapsing before our eyes. Even the corrupt, wacko, left wing, secular, so-called objective media won’t be able to humpty dumpty back together.
Chrisie is another moderate loser. That is why the corrupt, wacko, left wing, secular, so-called objective media is pushing him.
We will nominate a conservative and win because Obamanomics is going to collapse.
This summer gas prices will soar. Obama always said he wanted to see high gas prices and now he has the power to make it happen.
Publicly he will say no but the left wing wackos at the White House are thrilled!!!!!!!
@mikey o
are you from va. and if so what part?
Sic papa–sorry I left you out in the list of right wingers who helped Obama get re-elected. Were it not for vociferous people of your hardly measurable intelligence level, the dems would not be nearly as well off….
Unemployed claims for this week down to 366,000. Four years into the Obama Presidency? That means week job growth and massive debt as far as the eye can see.
Do it the Chicago way and print some more Obama money to prop up this dog of an economy you have created O.!!!!!
