   I can’t think of anything more un-american or un-Christian than their daily rants against anything President Obama does.

   You are incorrect. I have a great deal of respect for the office of President & have corrected people on this blog for their lack of respect. I consider myself a productive American who worked in the healing profession, pay my taxes, do volunteer work, give to charity, &, never even had a traffic ticket. I am against most of president Obama’s policies, just like the Left was of Bush’s. This doesn’t make either side un-American, for we are blessed in this Country with the right to free speech .

    Panetta: Obama Absent Night of Benghazi…
    Panetta said that Obama left operational details, including knowledge of what resources were available to help the Americans under seize, “up to us.”

    In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11, he did not communicate with a single person at the White House. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

    Panetta said that, save their 5 o’clock prescheduled meeting with the president the day of September 11, Obama did not call or communicate in anyway with the defense secretary that day. There were no calls about the what was going on in Benghazi. He never called to check-in.

    BUT

    GENERAL: ‘We Never Received a Request for Support’…
    General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the State Department never requested “support” in Benghazi:

    “Why didn’t you put forces in place to be ready to respond?,” Senator John McCain asked the general.

    Dempsey started, “Because we never received a request to do so, number one. And number two, we –”

    McCain iterrupted, “You never heard of Ambassador Stevens’s repeated warnings?”

    “I had, through General Ham,” responded Dempsey, referring to the commander of AFRICOM. “But we never received a request for support from the State Department, which would have allowed us to put forces–”

    Yes, the right is responsible for all our economic woes…Bush’s trillion plus dollars of UNFUNDED debt (wars, drug program, and tax cuts)..then the economic crisis brought about by crooks in Wall Street investment banks, in the real estate industry (loans, loan appraisals) and made worse by the right fringe in the House who don’t understand basic economics–namely, you don’t cut spending in a bad recession. So, yes, sic papa and your friends–YOU are responsible for our woes!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Gas is a dollar less than that where I am and apple isn’t even in the Bay Area…they probably shut down the refinery in Richmond.

    Anyone bashing fox news, take notice that fox’s ratings for the key “working age” demo drops off at 9pm… When its time for people with real jobs to turn off the tv and go to bed and wake up to work in the morning. Shockingly, MSNBC doesn’t have a “gotta work in the morning” demo drop-off.

    @d.d. I am not saying opposing a President is Un-American. The celebrating of American businesses to fail, or people not to receive medical care/coverage, or happy unemployment is still high, or job creation is sluggish.

    You name it, the right is against it!!

    If Obama had started the Iraq War or same, I have no doubt the far right would of celebrated the embarrassing daily mishaps and even troop casualties. The moral standard among the neo cons is in the toilet.

    You have doubts??? Watch the 2012 GOP Primary debates and listen to the pigs in the audience boo a solider and chant “let them die” to the idea of sick uninsured Americans.

At a Thursday hearing in the Senate, Republican Ted Cruz asked both Leon Panetta and Martin Dempsey, “In between 9:42 p.m., Benghazi time, when the first attacks started, and 5:15 am, when Mr. Doherty and Mr. Woods lost their lives, what converations did either of you have with Secretary Clinton?”

    “We did not have any conversations with Secretary Clinton,” Panetta responded.

    “And General Dempsey, the same is true for you?” Cruz asked. Dempsey confirmed this.
