Nashville and Chicago Fire have faced off in a Battle of the Wednesday at 10PM Bubble Shows all season, with no clear victor emerging. That may because for the past couple months, the two shows have rarely aired original episodes on the same night. On January 9, Chicago Fire scored a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating to Nashville's 2.1. On December 5, both shows earned a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.Which will emerge Victorious tonight? Make your predictions.

CSI (CBS), which has a crossover episode with CSI:NY, for the win.

  • omabin

Nashville is my guess due to the csi competition hitting chicago fire the most.

  • Californiadgd

    CSI: 2.6
    CF: 2.0
    Nashville: 1.9

  • ethan

    ChiFi 2.1, nashville 1.9, CSI 2.4

    CM 3.1, SVU 2.2(Tyson boost),

    Arrow 0.9, SPN 0.9

  • Chris

Tonight is CSI and CSI Ny’s crossover episode, the first part anyways… Thinking this might lead to a ratings bump for CSI, likely lower for both CF and Nashville. But CF and Nashville will come close to one another.

  • Juan

Nashville I say goes up and wins, the commercial was really good and the last episode left in a great place

Early in the season, I would have said how surprised I’d be if the two shows shared much of an audience, but as the season has progressed, it’s become clear that CF is nothing but a soap in disguise. I like CF better than Nashville, but I think that Nash will win tonight (if they don’t tie), voting on the honest to goodness soap over the one disguised as an action drama.

Musical shows sucks ! Cf will beat nashville

  • KT

I am huge fan of Nashville, and I voted that they will tie. The two shows have been very close ratings-wise throughout the whole season. Why would that change tonight?

  • Shepherd

LOL, everyone seems to be voting against the show they enjoy more. :)

  • robert

I watch CSI instead, but Chicago Fire has seen a ratings rise over the last month.

    @Kforce
I’m confused. According to all indexes, neither show is a bubble show…

Much like the networks spin the numbers when they’re writing press releases, TVBTN spins the numbers when they’re looking for pageviews! ;)

“Much like the networks spin the numbers when they’re writing press releases, TVBTN spins the numbers when they’re looking for pageviews! “

    Shhhhhhh!

Although I will admit that “bubble shows for part of the season” might have been a better way to go. ;)

  • Sofaspud

I don’t watch either one, but I’m rooting for “Nashville” just because “Chicago Fire” was brain-dead.

  • JulieDawn

Chicago Fire all the way. By at least .2

  • Nicko

With the buzz surrounding the SVU episode tonight with Mike Tyson and if a lot of viewers actually tune-in for SVU just for the sake of watching the “controversial episode”, Chicago Fire could benefit and easily beat Nashville.

Chicago Fire and Revolution are the only new shows that people actually watch (yes, Revolution is a “hit” guys get over it)… and people thought Chicago Fire and Revolution will be a goner.

  • Winning C.

Tonight is interesting because CSI has a huge crossover with NY and their ratings have been smoking this season as the top 10pm show right now on television.

CSI usually brings Chicago Fire’s numbers down.

This is going to be interesting due to the fact that Nashville has been losing to CF but CF might fall a bit this week which means Nashville can either tie or take the lead.

If CF beats Nashville again, then that means that CF got stronger as a series since December.

judging by nbc’s ratings lately, i really don’t think chicago fire is a bubble show…definitely coming back next season…i think nashville is too, but that’s less sure to me…

  • Riri

    SVU: 2.1 to 2.4 (ish)
    Chicago Fire: 1.9 to 2.2
    Nashville: 1.8 to 2.1
    CSI: 2.4 to 2.6

^You expect SVU to jump close to season highs against full competition tonight? With the horrific week NBC is having, NBC should pray it hold the 1.7 rating it got last week.
