Ha ha, everyone finally realized what a big, stinky turd “Flop” is, was and always will be. They’d do a better job saving it by NOT making it a Kat McPeePee vehicle. She’s just terrible.

I wonder if NBC will still insist it’s a “hit” with a straight face?

Is HIMYM still number 1 show on all networks this week???

  • dl

New Girl isn’t as overhyped as an averrated The Middle. What is truely overhyped was Nashville.

Let’s call Smash, ‘Crash’. It doesn’t use flop in the name, but it’s something at least.

‘I wonder if NBC will still insist it’s a “hit” with a straight face?’

If CBS can do it with Vegas, then NBC can manage

The sad thing is that at least one person will think you’re being serious.

ABC was smart to replace the expensive sitcoms in favor of the low cost and profitable Bachelor. But its bittersweet for me, because I love Happy Endings.

  • Phill

    wooohooo HOD stayed in .6!

“Is HIMYM still number 1 show on all networks this week???”

yeah for now but that will change with Modern Family & TBBT.

“New Girl isn’t as overhyped as an averrated The Middle.”

lol yeah ok… you’re only saying that to bother me but you only sound like an idiot.

  • Phill

NBC just sucks without the voice

  • Skylar James

@Fred: For me The B!tch was the best ABC sitcom, and its a shame it had to be cancelled, but understandable.

NBC needs to move SVU back to Tuesdays at 10PM and make sure to alert the fans of the move, they will then easily win the hour. Parenthood is strong, but SVU could easily win the time slot, especially considering CBS and ABC are weak in the hour.

CBS should of never moved The Good Wife to Sundays at 9 , the show was better Tuesdays at 10. It gets lost in the flux over there.

Those numbers mean that even if Vegas got 20 million viewers, it still would only hit a 3.0 18-49. That’s how old it skews. That’s amazing.

Series low for Vegas ! Interesting if Golden Boy get more than a 2.0 on Tuesday the Show should stay there and Vegas moves to Friday (where it will be a bloodbath). After all if Golden Boy has higher ratings on Tuesday, Vegas should move because it’s DOA.

ABC has just scheduled a bachelor special for the tuesday premiere of Body of Proof! This is good news for BoP. If this special is able to get number close to those fro last night, Body of Proof will actually have a shot at winning its timeslot and performing decent enough for ABC. Also, this means it will only air three times out of Happy Endings (I love both but what a horrible horrible combination), and the first of which is actually the second part of the season premiere. So, it should hit a series low in these episodes, but it will have plenty of time to rebound afterwards following Dancing. Also, considering the failure of Smash and Vegas, it couldn’t have asked for a better timeslot competition wise.

I hope that the bachelor special and the Crash premiere are what pulled away Vegas’ bump from last week. While Crash did terrible, it had to get it’s audience from somewhere and it could’ve taken away some of the ratings for Vegas. Again, I’m a dreamer, and this is a perfect example of that.

  • omabin

I agree about Golden Boy. It has a fair shot at staying on Tuesdays I think, it should not be that hard to outperform Vegas, although I am not aware if it is actually being well promoted or not by CBS, I don’t think their midseason dramas typically are.

  • zumpie

@Charles – Not a fan of Vegas, but they still managed an audience 2 1/2 times bigger than Flop’s season premiere and better ratings even in the 18-49 demo (and it is definitely a show for OLD people!).

Not to mention, at least everyone on Vegas can actually act.

  • Brianna

NBC did horrible last night not just Smash.

  • Samunto

At this point, Mindy will probably be back next season. Mindy seems to have some legs left in it without competish. It remains to be seen if NBC will air a drama or hot new comedy Tuesdays at 9 next season.

But fact is, comedies have never done exceptionally well after talent shows. See how ABC failed Mondays 9:30 after DWTS with comedy (Samantha Who) or how FOX never got traction airing comedies after IDol.

But the peacock knows it doesn’t want to give FOX a lone playground with comedies Tuesdays…
