@Kris
It’s all about the greenbacks. Don’t think for a moment NBC won’t move SNF to their cable sports channel if it makes them more money. Not sure if the NFL cares which NBC outlet airs their games as long as the NFL gets their asking price.
NCiS does it again!!! Way to go!!
@Tony ^-^
I think you asked if Mindy had improved in quality? If it wasn’t you, forgive me. In my opinion, it is a lot better now since the pilot. The only thing I don’t like is the cheesy music during the intro credits. The show is pretty good. I think part of it is due to the male nurse (who was not in the pilot) and the male doctors. Funny stuff.
Make a poll for Community tomorrow!!!!!
@ Bill Gorman and Robert Seidman
You are famous, appearing on prime time television shows.
Tonight on they mentioned the Cancellation Bear on “ Suburgatory “ on ABC, Original Airdate: 2/06/2013; they even had a picture of a Cancellation Bear. They used this to cancel Tessa’s Teen talk or body talk show.
tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com has become national big deal
Better to Follow The Bear, Than Be Chased By Him. This season you can follow the Cancellation Bear on Twitter via @TheCancelBear. The Cancellation Bear will retweet all the Renew/Cancel Index post titles and links as well as engage in a little more back and forth banter than we do on our standard @TVbytheNumbers Twitter feed.
@Bill
“My reference was to the fact that of all NBC primetime shows, they are the only one that is reasonably able to increase their output beyond what was originally scheduled.”
lol, I got that Dateline’s producers were under the whip to get more shows done, but then tried to be funny and say others are simply getting whipped as a form of punishment! Ahh, to be a fly on the wall at NBC headquarters these past few weeks.
I’m never able to get my humor to go over well in writing
Anyone know how people are able to write in different fonts, add box quotes, italics, and have assess to so many different smiley faces?

It’s html coding. For italics, to start you put i between the greater-than and less-than signs (on the same key as the comma and period) to end put /i between the signs. Bold is b, quotes is blockquote, hyperlinking is a href=”website” and closing with /a. The available smilies can be seen here.
I’m pretty sure some people had their DVRs on while watching Smash.
The Cancellation Bear was featured on Suburgatory tonight….?????
We need a Youtube clip of that….STAT!
LOL!!…just watching the episode now,its at 16:28…Tessa goes into the principles office and says: you wanted to see me?, he he replies…I didn’t wanna see you, the cancellation bear wanted to see you
And he holds up a pic of a bear with ratings numbers and everything!
So Betty White turned 90 for the second time? That title does not make sense at all.
It’s amazing to me that Betty White can beat NBC’s other offerings in the demo each week and usually in total viewers. Smash is pure soap and totally uninteresting to this heterosexual male, but I figured it would do betterh than the numbers above. Low viewers and low demo. Guess they should have kept that crapper on Monday night. With those abysmal numbers, a certain female I know won’t have to obsess about the goings-on on that program for too much longer.
@ Bill and Robert, I have a poll suggestion for you!
Beauty & The Beast vs. Hart Of Dixie….who gets cancelled?
Page hits gold right there!
I feel bad for the talented cast of Smash, but great news for Parenthood.
New Girl back at hit status?
The Bachelor one tenth below Grey’s Anatomy?
Emily Owens one tenth below series premiere?
Strange…
Congrats Messrs. Gorman and Seidman! The Cancellation Bear has made it to Primetime. This evening on Suburgatory, the Bear was poised to devour “Teen Talk” starring Tessa Altman. Evidently, only fans of the CW were tuning into the show.
Thank You Holly. Tyvm
I feel obligated to dedicate my first born to you. post, same thing.
I expect about half of NBC’s shows to be cancelled this season, just like last year. Last season at NBC was am absolute bloodbath. Don’t expect deception to get a renewal unless it goes up by at least half a ratings point. Smash is DOA and so is Do no harm. NBC comedies speak for themselves. NBC’s only redeeming prospect this season is revolution and I’m not sure if that show would have succeeded without the voice as a lead in. Last year, NBC was cancellation city, and it’s going to be this year too.
“Beauty & The Beast vs. Hart Of Dixie….who gets cancelled?”
Both can be!
People said “HOD VS Nikita” last year and “LUX VS OTH” three years ago.
