DougZ is probably THE MOST out of it person in here. Not with his ideas like USA….he’s just COMPLETELY out of his MIND.

  • Mikey O

@Jeff Sorry look up virgina law you have to show something that shows your name with the address you live there it can be an ID, gas, water, electic or phone bill. Lets do a package deal you want backround checks to buy guns ok then you have to show ID to vote. If you dont have an Id you can get one for free. We can call it the Obama voter ID card if you want.

  • usa8888

No, it’s not a negative multiplier effect becuase the economy will be spurred ahead (jump started, if you will)and when as it revs up, an increasing amount of money will pour into the US Treasury. Then, you balance the budget and things are fine…. What you don’t want to do is choke off a recovery too soon by cutting back on spending too soon….

  • Ratboy

I will tell you this, if the R’s had done the same fantastic job of getting people to the polls as the D’s did and won because of it, the D’s would have been screaming voter fraud at the top of their lungs!

Voter fraud may not be huge in numbers (of cases investigated) but the fact that people can vote twice, vote for other people, vote dead, just proves that it could play a big roll for or against either side so why not put in that extra level of protection. as a % gun violence is only from a very very very small group of gun owners but they want that extra level of protection by background checks. If there is not a problem then what are you afraid of??

  • usa8888

Nobody is afraid of voter id’s if they are relatively easy to get (process wise) and if they are not imposed at the last minute. Also, voting should be made as easy and efficient as possible…

  • Mikey O

@RATBOY Yes So what the problem USA8888 ? Common sense deal to me

when GNP to debt is over 50% the growth will go down. It is history or fact. Look it up and prove this wrong. You can not . Keep spending.

    Good afternoon Coffee Steve,

Thank you for your kind words. I’m hoping that we don’t get the snow that is predicted. We do have firewood, water, batteries, flashlights and all the necessities in case it does.

  • Coffee Steve

We had a major ice storm then snow about 3 years ago and subzero temps. Power was out for about 10 days if not for our generator I hate to think what could have happened.

It’s good that you prepared, and as here back then, hopefully the snow will insulate your home so the house doesn’t get too bad. Ours stayed fairly decent temp wise due to the snow cover.

    Afternoon all

    Afternoon lbeles

    wazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz up?

  • Faith3

    Coffee Steve,

We had a pretty bad ice storm here a few years ago and our power was out for about 10 days too. We tried to buy a generator but they were all sold out. We learned our lesson and bought a generator shorty thereafter and it sure has come in handy here in New England. We’ve used it in the aftermath of hurricanes, tornadoes, snow and ice storms. Best investment money can buy! We will have heat if the electricity goes.

  • Raz

Jeff, you have a lot of nerve talking about the church, when the democratic party has more then it’s share of molesting, like the Sen. who is under investigation for having sex with under age girls in the Dominican Repub. B
