“OFF THE TEE” WITH GARY McCORD
(On Phil Mickelson)
Last year he shot 64 here on Sunday and then went away into the darkness. Now he starts the 2013 season with an unbelievable win last week in Phoenix. So is he going to plough on or disappear again like last year? With Phil you know it’s going to be a roller coaster but you don’t know if it’s going to be up or down. So let’s sit back and watch.
(On Defending Champion Celebrity Bill Murray)
Without a doubt the top celebrity here for spontaneity and entertainment is Bill Murray. I have actually gone out and watched Bill Murray during the tournament because I might find something I can steal and use on our broadcast and claim it was mine because he is that good.
Lance Barrow is Coordinating Producer and Steve Milton is Director of CBS Sports’ golf coverage. Harold Bryant is Executive Producer and Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
