Tonight Community finally returns. Originally, it was supposed to launch in the fall on Fridays, but NBC postponed its debut several times. It will be a new era for the low rated cult comedy after the acrimonious departure of the show's creator Dan Harmon at the end of last season. Will the show's passionate fans accept the new showrunners' take on the show? The season finale on May 17 garnered a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. Its prior season premiere on September 22, 2011 earned a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. How will it fare tonight against the juggernauts of The Big Bang Theory and American Idol? Given what a rough week it has been for NBC, the Greendale Human Beings are going to need a miracle to succeed. Make your predictions below.
I think it’ll be a 1.3. No reason why the same passionate audience that watched the finale won’t go back for the premiere.

I’d say 1.4 to 1.5. People’s interests are piqued right now to see what the ‘new version’ of the show will be like. Plus it’s being promoted as a Hunger Games parody.
If it can stabilize itself between a 1.3 and a 1.6 this season I’d say it’s in line to return for a 5th and final season (half-season) next season.

Its premieres are always a touch above the previous finale. I’m guessing a 1.5, but it’d be nice to see it land a little higher.

I’m going for a 1.3, given Smash’s premiere and fact that it has been delayed twice… I don’t believe it will go much higher than that. If it does, it will fall with time and stay around 1.1 or maybe 1.0…
I LOVE Community, but I predict a 1.2 or 1.3.

This is one heck of a CULT show and I’ve never seen more than half a episode.
However, mainstream audience (like me, I guess) ignore the heck out of it. I’d rather watch this than sit through a screaching second of the BIG BANG BORING!
I don’t know the exact premise of the show but HALE is WAY to old to be in college like most of the cast they look closer to 37 than 22.
