    I suspect Middle & Modern Family to increase next season, as they will be in broadcast syndication & in reruns on cable. The Big Bang Theory was moved to Thursdays in its fourth season and in its fifth season is when it exploded and was in syndication.

    april cannot come fast enough for ABC. the neighbors has got to go. it’s hurting the night the same way partners was hurting CBS mondays.

    and ABC got too complacent with modern family. stop using just 15 second promos and promote some more. it can only hang around on previous hype so much.

    and suburgatory is a terrible lead-in for nashville, tho the retention is good between them. but suburgatory falls too heavily from MF. i wonder how things would be if suburgatory and happy endings were kept where they were.

    How absolutely brilliant for SPN!

    Modern Family needs some hits surrounding it to boost its numbers. It’s a full point above all of the rest of ABCs shows.

    On the other hand, I’m not worried about Nashville. It’s selling CDs as well as advertising slots, so that extra money will help it stick around.

    MF is dead.

    @John A.:

    …Which will make tonight’s ‘Idol’ telecast even more intriguing. Last week, I thought Wednesday’s 5.5 would hold for Thursday, and I guessed wrong (it dropped to 4.5). I will wage no bets on yesterday’s 4.6 holding tonight.

    Gone are the days when it consistently drew 10.0 in the 18-49 demo. It is now in danger of not even drawing that number overall. The first show this season drew 10.2.

    Like I said, the sooner it starts drawing consistently at its 1st-season level, they should pack it in, rather than let it continue as a pathetic shell of itself, drawing a truckload of 2s.

    How early does the CW do early renewals? I feel like they should capitalize on the upswing and announce the SPN, VD, Arrow renewals soon

  • CrimTV

    Let’s hope this week is just an odd week for ABC and their comedies rise next week

    Is it Modern Flop or Flop Family?
    Since show is dropping dramatically, it’s time to start using ‘flop’.

    Nice to see rob60990 continue to “LOL” and “L” his “AO” at the ratings of shows he doesn’t like, not to mention his continued desire to see them cancelled. He “can’t wait” to see them get axed, you know? Seriously, this is what gives the guy his happy moments. What a winner, huh?

    Getting back to something that actually matters, love that Supernatural is continuing to keep pace with Arrow. Arrow deserves its success but it’s good that SPN can show that it doesn’t depend on it to survive. Really successful pairing.

    Excellent for Supernatural.

    Maybe he didn’t get the memo, that ‘Must-See TV’ was dead and buried long ago. They should stick to programs that are sci-fi/paranormal/dystopia-related, like ‘Heroes’ was and ‘Revolution’ is.

    A 3.7 is NOT a flop! Are you insane?

  • Freyja

    Awesome to see SPN adjusted up =)

  • Jenk

    I love all these low NBC numbers because assuming Community can pull a 1.2, I think it has a shot at renewal for a fifth and final season.

    @Sutton & Emma

    I’m sorry, but apart from Chicago Fire’s 1.9 rating, Wednesday night is NOT a MUST SEE TV night. A

    It’s not great when a show premieres at a 5.5 and is down to 3.7 before springtime.

  • CrimTV

    Erm that doesn’t really matter, it started at a 5.5 and is still at a great 3.7, which isn’t even a series low and it’s the highest rated comedy on ABC, NBC and FOX combined!

  • CrimTV

    @Sutton & Emma

    I’m sorry, but apart from Chicago Fire’s 1.9 rating, Wednesday night is NOT a MUST SEE TV night. A 1.2, 1.2 and a 1.5 is not great
