And yet, you continue to reply to my comments. Now, who is obsessed? You are. End of discussion.
I never called you obsessed, you called me that. I’ll reply for as long as I desire, thanks.
Soo…. Is PoI/Grey’s becoming the new Castle/H50 of bizarre comment war rivalries?
Yay! Scandal is catching up with GA
.
Won’t be surprised if ABC airs Scandal @9pm next season.
Scandal is now a 10 year hit.
I love Elementary. GOod show.
TVD is loosing viewers. That show is too depressing.
Arrow is now reigning as number one on CW.
“I never called you obsessed, you called me that. I’ll reply for as long as I desire, thanks.”
LOL, and there goes your obsession again! Ha! Just can’t quit can you???
Melissa,
I’m with you and some POI fans here are not only ignorant but also rude.
It will be Scandalous if Scandal doesnt get renewed. Kerry Washington is great in this!
@Melissa
Don’t bother with POI fans, they can’t get over the fact that their show with 4+ lead-in still has trouble beating 9 year old drama.
Time to move POI to another night or 10pm so CBS can focus on another show that could actually beat GA.
“American Idol’s” new advertising campaign:
We’re the third highest rated show on Thursday nights!
We’ve got the fourth highest viewership on Thursday nights!
And we’re STILL the most expensive show AND disastrous waste of money in reality TV history — J. Lo/Steven Tyler/Mariah/Minaj/Keith Who?/and of course, the second luckiest man in showbiz, Randy Jackson (after Midget Mike Darnell)
That flushing sound you’re hearing? FOX profits.
@Samurai. Like I said – comparing HFO, CIS and Elementary on their numbers is splitting hairs!!
So the decision has to come down to other things. And CSI and HFO make good money for CBS. HFO has a great syndication deal for CBS, but one that will have demo ratings parameters built into it. They ship it to a Sunday it might not get high enough ratings to justify the deal and could then cost CBS.
They have no deal for Elementary. Therefore, in the interests of money, Elementary should be moved to Fridays or Sundays.
Unless… CBS are happy to squeeze one more season out of HFO then cancel it and are willing to see if Elementary can turn it around. Which I doubt it can. But CBS might be quite happy to syndicate shows, get four or five seasons then cancel them. I said last year that I thought this might very well be their new business model. If so, then expect to see lots of shows doing five or so seasons and then being gone to make way for the next sydnication factory product!
Haha. Scandal has a good chance to beat GA by end of this season.
@bluejays,
They have no deal for Elementary. Therefore, in the interests of money, Elementary should be moved to Fridays or Sundays.
But if they want it to get a syndication deal, they have to ensure it will last for 3 more seasons. If moving to Friday would jeopardize that, then they won’t do it.

Yeah, it’s definitely an “obsession” for me to reply to you. You ran out of logical arguments a very long time ago, so now you’re just rambling.

Thanks, that’s the truth.

Exactly. They’re so ignorant to reality. And I do think CBS will move Person of Interest to 10pm next year, because it’s not retaining enough of its huge lead-in.
“Too bad network’s don’t care about “people’s choice”, they care about “advertiser’s choice”. The people don’t pay them.”
Yes, they do (pay them). That’s why the advertisers are there in the first place. If the people don’t watch then the networks get less of the advertiser’s money.
@JC

If the people are watching live and included in the ratings, then they’re watching the advertisements. The advertisers pay the networks, not the people.
“Soo…. Is PoI/Grey’s becoming the new Castle/H50 of bizarre comment war rivalries?”
I never understood either rivalry.
“If the people are watching live and included in the ratings, then they’re watching the advertisements. The advertisers pay the networks, not the people.”
With money they make from the consumer who’s watching the show. In other words, they care about the people’s choice because the people’s choice is ultimately what’s going to get them their money. That’s why they care about ratings.
“I never understood either rivalry.”
Craziness + self esteem tied up in a TV show is my best guess.
On the other hand, rivalries between bubble shows on the same network make perfect sense (and good business!). Followers of the Cancellation Bear know that.
Carrie Diaries, BATB & Hart of Dixie fans have at it!
“some POI fans here are not only ignorant but also rude.”
And the Pot is calling the kettle black? Hehe..
