Community and The Big Bang Theory were each adjusted up a tenth, while Person Of Interest and Elementary were eachadjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings.

Because of how late the Super Bowl ended this year I don’t think ANY show CBS decided to air really would have done great compared to previous years..but it must sting that Elementary didn’t get any type of boast in viewership. The Super Bowl episode was good but to anyone who was just casually watching I can’t say that it would make them a fan all of a sudden.

The 9 PM time slot for CW for areas where I live pre-empted the show for basketball game so it’s no surprise the ratings were lower.
(Also, Community won’t hold these numbers. It will be back down to 1.2-1.4 soon enough, but nothing NBC will put in that timeslot will do any better)

really? you are to scandal what MAX is to revenge. give it a rest. you’ve been talking/BS-ing about every damn way that scandal will fail/has failed since november. “LMAO only a 0.1 bump,” “LMAO it’ll adjust down 0.4 in the finals,” “LMAO scandal will fail next season,” “LMAO this is as high as it gets,” “LMAO it’ll crash next week.” but the show’s proven you wrong each time. and as long as the quality stays excellent and the buzz around all the drama and twists is there, it’ll continue to build. but you can keep trying though.
For all the people complaing about elementary not getting a post Super Bowl bump…. Please tell me sense when has a show that was post Super Bowl actuall gotten a lage benefit after Super Bowl airing other that reality shows???

It would have been canceled last week, but it was running so slow that the Cancellation Bear actually ran past it and had to double back…
AT least TBBT get boost from Super Bowl promotion. Still don’t get it why POI don’t get at least the same super bowl adverisment liek TBBT and Monday comedies.
ps POI and Elementary preemred at NC for basketball(duke). I guess that is whu were ad down.

I think everyone is being way too gung ho about Community. Let’s wait to see if it holds those numbers or anything close to it next week. Just remember the show everyone is beating up on now, Go On, debuted at 3.3 ratings.

You’re incorrect! Hawaii Five-0 is doing better than Elementary! Especially when you consider the lead-in numbers and compatability, difference in promotion and the fact that Elementary has less competition in that slot from other networks.

Advertisment during super bowl for TBBT help a lot. Heavy promotion on abc for scandal and fox the following is helping both shows. Its silly to say that bigger and better promotion don’t help.
BaTB is pathetic! TCD beat it both on 18-49 and total viewers. HOD has the same numbers but it isn’t lead-in dependent like B and the flop is of its lead-in. TCD and HOD will be renewed over Batb crap lol!
