    Scandal had no adjustments, except for an increase in viewers! Which is great!

    Elementary basically gained nothing from the post Super Bowl spot. CBS has to be disappointed. Late start or not, you would have thought it gained something from the slot.

    Grey ties POI , but it was a close one! POI was so close to coming out on top!
    Great for Community and TBBT!

    Oh! Go community!
    NBC should put revolution – Re on Do no harm spot.
    And Go on and TNN can’t survive without The Voice.
    Community builds on its own and push Park.
    Who is running NBC?

    @rob60990 and max

    Rob you even more pathetic than max you just complain because your show isn’t doing well.. And of course revenge will rise after being so low cause their no where to go but up lol… And for the record I like both shows but rob the points you say are dumb……. Grow up and get a life

  • Wright

    Damn Elementary adjusted down!!! Was hoping VD would adjust up.

  • CrimTV

    Really wish people would let it go with the bashing Elementary! It was last week, no one will remember this in a months time, give up bashing the show and just let it go! Glee didn’t gain after the Super Bowl either, so get a grip!

    Also, I am sorry but 2.2 is not an acceptable number for Elementary. I won’t argue that it will not be renewed, because it will be, but it is a very weak show. Raw numbers are not everything (for the most part, they are the biggest part of renewals but not of the assessment of a show’s strength), we need to look at the context.

    FACTS:
    1. 2.2 (and the previous 2.2) is just one tenth above some of the mentalist’s most recent outings (2.1, 2.1, 1.9) and is actually below the results that CSI and Five-0 are pulling (2.3, 2.6, 2.4 and 2.4, 2.3, 2.3).

    2. It goes against no competition from NBC (Do No Harm is non existent and so was Rock Center). Scandal is the only competition, albeit a strong one. By comparison, CSI and Five-0 face strong offerings from both ABC and NBC, especially Five-0, which also deals with football.

    3. It is a first year show, so it is more prone to declines. Additionally, CBS seems to have gone as far as it could in order to try to make it grow (post Super Bowl slot) with no results. It is likely that it will only go down.

    4. It is on CBS’s strongest night and has one of the most strongest lead-ins. Although in size the lead-in is similar to Mike and Molly, POI is way more compatible/similar with Elementary than Mike and Molly is with Hawaii. CSI is also similar to CM. The Mentalist gets an even worse situation as the lead-in is very different from it.

    Elementary should be doing better. It is not strong enough to be worthy of staying on Thursdays but it is also not strong enough to be able to sustain a move to Monday, Wednesday or Sunday. A proper lead-in on Tuesday should work given the weak landscape of the day, but then again, it is prime real estate to waste on a non growing show. It seems Friday bound to me, although I am not sure CBS will admit defeat.

    was there a preview for next week episode of community (the halloween one i think??) didnt notice and cant seem to find one

    NBC REPEAT REVOLUTION THURSDAYS AT 10PM TO EARN NEW VIEWERS!

  • Petar Ivanov

    @Elementary should be cancelled.

    Elementary is CBS baby, most promoted and advertise CBS show. Will stay at least for 4 if not 5 seasons even if its ratings are like TGW. But is shame that waaaay better and quality shows don’t get that respect at CBS. Only because they are not CBS shows.

  • Tommy M.

    NBC will run SVU repeats for the next two weeks in Do No Harms timeslot according to the deadline article.

  • Dr. TV

    Cancellation Bear: FOX, NBC and ABC. All are going away in the next 5 years. The network tv biz is dead. All of you claiming happiness for 2 rated shows are missing the point. A 2 rated show barely breaks even for a network, even if they own it. The days of huge syndication payoffs are gone.

  • TVMAN

    LOL @ Elementary. Anyone could’ve seen this a mile away. The shows promos don’t make it look interesting at all.. Why CBS would give a show getting low 2.0’s a post Super Bowl spot is beyond me…

  • CrimTV

    WTF NBC?! Do No Harm is cancelled and you air damn LAW & ORDER: SVU REPEATS, but NOT REVOLUTION. I was supporting NBC, but they put Revolution on a 4 MONTH BREAK AND DON’T REPEAT IT, They are delusional1

  • Ultima

    @Mike
    Please tell me sense when has a show that was post Super Bowl actuall gotten a lage benefit after Super Bowl airing other that reality shows???

    Grey’s Anatomy in 2006.

    Also, I don’t think reality shows benefit nearly as much as some people think. Sure, Undercover Boss did really well its first two seasons, but The Voice only got a brief bump and Survivor got nothing (the post-Super Bowl episode was actually down!).

  • Petar Ivanov

    @NBC REPEAT REVOLUTION THURSDAYS AT 10PM TO EARN NEW VIEWERS!

    That is not smart idea. Serialized dramas not repeat well week per week. What CBS should do is weekend when is returning marathon like abc OUAT or cable shows – TWD etc.

  • Martine

    I must be missing something. What is so great aboiut the jnumbers for Community and Parksand Rec? They seem pretty low. I mean in general. Of course I haven’t ever watched either show, and don’t know what they usually do.

  • Dan

    Thats what I wanted to see for Community, though I hoped for a 2.0, 1.9 is great.

  • omabin

    They should have used the slot to air Chicago Fire repeats, that show needs visibility more than freaking SVU. I understand the decision of not airing revolution, but chicago fire was a way better choice than SVU!

    That’s some hardcore delusion right there.

    @ Crim TV,

    Given that Revolution is highly serialized repeats of it would probably do pretty badly. SVU repeats pretty well for them (compared to the majority of their other dramas) so I’d say it’s the best move they could make ratings wise.
