@ Crim TV,
“WTF NBC?! Do No Harm is cancelled and you air damn LAW & ORDER: SVU REPEATS, but NOT REVOLUTION. I was supporting NBC, but they put Revolution on a 4 MONTH BREAK AND DON’T REPEAT IT, They are delusional1″
Given that Revolution is highly serialized repeats of it would probably do pretty badly. SVU repeats pretty well for them (compared to the majority of their other dramas) so I’d say it’s the best move they could make ratings wise.
@Todd
Ok. You’re right about H50 (barely). But elementary is still ahead of four shows to get renewed.
Go POI Go! Such an amazing and decent show. Reese and Finch are my heroes.
TBBT is a beast and I see it only getting bigger and bigger for the remaining season. Last night’s episode was really good and funny. Elementary needs to go bye-bye. What a waste of that spot after Superbowl . Should have gone to POI.
Beauty and the Beast is very steady. I am fairly certain they will get renewed. I am surprised at how awful the Carrie Diaries has been doing. Compared to that and Hart of Dixie BatB is doing amazingly well. I doubt that CW will just keep throwing new shows at the slot. They don’t really have anything worth trying. Especially as the Carrie Diaries might have to get pulled.
@ Tommy regardless of how the repeats perform, it would still be smarter to show Revolution repeats so people will remember it. Its one of their few shows with any future. I think they are delusional.
@omabin
Come on guys….Elementary is CBS baby. They waste super bowl slot and air so many promos for that show they will continue this say. No doubt about that.
What make me angry is CBS unfairness. CBS is mother for their shows and stepmother for other better shows. But i guess that is the rule of the game. Still don’t get it why CBS even order other than only CBS shows or at least dramas. I think this is fair option.
@Martine
I must be missing something. What is so great aboiut the jnumbers for Community and Parksand Rec?
Excluding 30 Rock’s finale and The Office (since both are ending), they were the highest rated airings for NBC comedies since 1 January.
POI was incredible last time. Thank goodness it seems to be holding its popularity.
@ Martine,
What’s the point of running a limited number of reruns of a highly serialized show? They don’t have enough time to reair the entire series so it’s basically a waste of the timeslot. SVU is procedural so repeats of it make much more sense.
@Given that Revolution is highly serialized repeats of it would probably do pretty badly. SVU repeats pretty well for them (compared to the majority of their other dramas) so I’d say it’s the best move they could make ratings wise.
I agree. What will make RVN bigger is netflix deal not repeats. NBC go to cable format they just should repeat steps that are already proven for success. Streaming, marathons, heavy promotion.
@Martine

What are you smoking?
Elementary….. HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
If Community performs like this, NBC will put this show until TBBT ends.
“Hopefully batb goes back up next week cause im sure the pre emptions affected its ratings” Whatever floats your boat. Yesterday was the second lowest viewership for B&B. For Episode 8 on 12/6, it fell to 0.5/141 MM. Last season, both the Secret Circle and Ringer came back to stronger ratings after being on hiatus and then quickly started to fall. I’d say the same thing happened here. B&B temporarily picked up a few more viewers but, after the show’s numerous flaws became evident, lost those viewers and probably a few more. We’ll see what happens next week, but I’d guess B&B would be lucky to avoid dropping to a 0.5 demo.
@Martine, what are you talking about? The Carrie Diaries beat both Beauty & the Beast and Hart of Dixie this week.
Elementary and B&B still steady yea!!!
I think the main reason Elementary is not a smash hit like CBS wants it to be is because of the promos. They are pretty awful and make the show seem like a total joke. They should make the promos more intriguing and dark; instead the promos feel like they are for a Moonlighting reboot and not a show about the greatest DETECTIVE in literary history. The show is NOT a romantic comedy so stop marketing it like that. Just my two cents.
You want NBC to air Revolution? Look what happend to Smash!
POI/TM was a strong pair last season … don’t known why CBS moveed the Mentalist from Thur to Sun.
Even worse, they put TM after TGW … It’s a miracle that TM is still alive.
